KangerTech SubTank Mini Glass Removal

I'm trying to remove the glass from the kangertech subtank mini and it will not come off. Any suggestions?

Just started using subtank mini. They came with black o rings. Im gonna need the same info. I wanna switch them.

I'm trying to do the same thing MagicJosh, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to take it apart!

Maybe run it under some water and a soft pull. Just be careful you don't break it. Thats what i will try later today when i get my new e-liquid.

Just tried the water...nothing, it's like it is screwed on somehow, but every video I seen shows that it just slides off.

My subtank Mini comes right off maybe give it a slight twist when you are pulling on it

I had the same problem the first time I tried. Wrapping a wash cloth around the end and a little brute but gentle twisty force was the only thing that worked. Just go for it. It comes with an extra glass.

But after running hot water, banging, even BOILING...it still wouldn't come off! I just broke the glass off (still had a hard time getting the broken glass to come loose).

But, I got my black rings now lol!

My kanger subtank is a mini but i put luke warm water in it for about 5 min and twist off gently mine tends to come off pretty easy.

Took me a while to get mine off. I could twist it, and you could feel it spinning, but no matter how hard I pulled, it wouldn't separate from the top ring. Finally got a bit of space while spinning/pulling and slipped a thin knife blade in there. It was enough to break the seal/vacuum. After that it slipped off. When it finally did, the gasket actually rolled a bit on one side. Looks like the gasket had really attached itself to the glass tank. I made sure to put a bit of VG on the gasket before putting the glass back on.

Don't have a mini but I had the same problem the first time I tried pull pull off the glass. Also had a hard time first time I installed the rba head becaus eof the screws on top. I don't think the mini is like that. You don't have to unscrew the top if I'm not mistaken.

First time on my tanks I had to run hot water on the glass after I put it in freezer for about 15 min
it poped lose since the first time no problem I do juice the o rings my son has one broke the glass but he never washed his before using it good luck

wrap some electrical tape around top cap and glass, this will get you the grip you need

It should say in the instructions (but doesn't) to removed the glass before use and rub some juice on the o rings, once it's had some heat inside, its a bugger to get off. I did that with my second tank and I've never had a problem..

Be careful trying to get the glass off, I cracked the original glass on mine yesterday while washing everything out for a different flavor (accidentally dropped the tank in the sink). Good thing Kanger includes a spare glass section in the box!
