Kangertech Subtank Not Working

Hello all! I have been vaping tons of vanilla liquids over the last year and am getting started trying to drip with the cotton and everything. So I bought the Kangertech Sub tank because you can change it from regular vaping to dripping. But it does not work on my eleaf I-stick, or my I-joy e-top-a, and other than that I only have 3 of the e-go twists (3.2-4.8). I know its not made for those. when I use the part without the cotton on the subtank, and I just fill it with liquid and change back to the dual coil, it's fine. What's wrong? Just for the heck of it I put it on the ego i-twist and it actually heated up (a tiny bit) but the 2 big ones- the e-top-a, beeped (like the tank was too powerful and wouldnt work), and the Eleaf read low atomizer. Both did nothing.

Hi, welcome to this forum. I'm glad you asked questions about the problem before you got hurt mismatching batteries with low ohm devices. (not being a smart@ss, you could get a burn from a battery and no one wants to see you get hurt)

1) it's not a dripper, it's a rebuildable deck that has two coils equalling .5ohm as it comes from the factory.
2) none of the batteries you listed are suitable to drive that at .5ohm. If you put a .5 ohm device on a battery that doesn't fire that low, you are risking problems. Please don't.

The two regular coils are .5 ohm and 1.2 ohm respectively. The 20 watt istick will drive the 1.2 ohm coil: BARELY and maybe not even. But not the .5 AT ALL. it's limit is 1ohm and needs to be fully charged and healthy to even think about doing that low.

This forum is THE BEST resource for learning about ohms law and how to make things work safely. Lots of people will help you. Everyone wants to everyone else to be safe and enjoy their vaping.

At the very least, you need to get a battery that fires at .5 ohm. Take a little time to learn the basics about vaping at 1 ohm or below... you will be glad you did.

Again, not being a smart@ss or talking down to you. I want you to be safe!

Listen to Undies -- he's got you covered nicely, and from what I can tell even tucked in the sheets. It's a good tank, you just didn't understand what you were buying or how it connected with your equipment. Three additional notes, not in order:

1. Don't put that on an ego. It isn't good for it. :)

2. If you like the istick, you'll probably want to look into the 30w version.

3. Welcome!
