I just got 2 in the mail. Looks identical to the original side by side.

Differences -

no screws on the top
510 pin doesn't stick out (it stands on it's own fine without a stand)
Drip tip is more wide bore and squat. looks nice. I like the old on but this one is more functional
Much better oring on the bottom. It now looks similar to the one on top, it sits in the channel, but sticks up so it really makes contact and seals when you screw it in. sorry no pic.
the airflow is NOT identical to my mini (1 big hole, 2 big holes, wide open cyclops, closed) - as you adjust you will see no fully closed option, 1 tiny hole, to one large hole, to fully open.
A few additions in the box that were not included with the original that are very welcome - replacement glass and a full set of black o rings (red installed). The only other difference being that it is the mini rba deck instead of the full size. the .5 is installed, a 1.2 is in the box, and some coils, cotton, screwdriver, etc.

Sorry for the lack of pics, but I hope this helps anyone waiting on one or curious about it. I can't say I am satisfied or not yet, I have only had it for an hour. taste and clouds seem no different than the original so far, so I am happy camper. Now I have a subtank for all my main juices, happy about that.

Thanks for the run down. Got one coming from vape supersaver for less than $30. Can't wait for it and my M class to arrive... and a few 120s of juice. Going to be an epic vapemail week.

given the description or those that have one already. does it appear that the complete airflow system is superior to the mini? it does not leak at all?

I keep my tanks wide open so I can't tell you if it is better or not. Wide open feels the same on both the mini and plus though.

As for leaking, my original subtank took a week or two to exhibit the problem, so it may be awhile before we get an accurate idea. I do think that the oring at the bottom though will go a long way towards correcting this though. fingers crossed. 2 days in and only one refill so far, no problems.

Got my Plus in today. Loving it for my at home only tank. Already got the RBA built and my tank wicked... 7ml is quite awesome. I don't mind its bulky size on my stay at home iPV mini 1.. may actually pickup a black K-Box for it when they come out. Airflow is SLIGHTLY more open than STM with the RBA section, but not by a ton, that is of course because of the dual holes on the AFC base. Overall, well worth the $29 I spent to not have to refill nearly as much at home, my mini's will still be my travel tanks.

I'd just like to say I've had a mini for going on 8 days now I think and it hasn't leaked a single drop. Idk if the original full size is same design exactly but I don't get all the leaking comments.

And be gentle with the mini rba. I can screw mine open with the base attacked by drying it off and grabbing it very gently and spinning. The more force you use squeezing and turning the harder it becomes. Just keep the bottom base in nice and tight and you shouldn't need to unscrew that from the AFC or your mod to get the rba open.

And you DO NOT need to screw the cage/glass on tight after refilling. When it's snug you stop. The o-rings act as gaskets and it will not leak when assembled and tightened properly.

I kinda want a plus because I love the subtank but I don't really need it and don't have a mod bigger than 22 mms. I will most likely own an extra mini or two at some point, though.

I found in a reddit thread on the mini turn the bottom red gasket upside down to stop leaking. by gosh it worked! now I will push it and get a lavender ring set. really want plus but look what I posted in the high end regulated mod thread. it is nearly bigger than my mod. I gather it has better air flow which I really want. I am sure they will come out with a new mini. 7ml is probably really good in a 2x18650 mod or istick 50w lol.

I am guessing the airflow is better than the mini. the bottom oring is bigger. for whatever that is worth. I hope it is better. this will make 3rd kanger for me in 6 days. at the b&m's here they run me $80! when you have to have it. unless anyone tells me mini is really the same thing. you save me $80 and my sanity. it is just so awesome for a clearo I must have the best one but I went about it wrong and have lost $$$.

That's not true. There will be one with a black finish coming. Read the description: Kanger Subtank Plus V2 25mm

I have one already, don't need to read the description, but yeah. I also posted that several days ago when less information was available. That doesn't change the relevancy of what I said, it's just an additional color option.

almost had it. it is just too big for 22mm devices imo. the mini leaking is total bs. I thought the reverse ring fixed it. then an entire tank drained on my desk. the mini is the right size. don't know if it has the ultimate airflow from kanger but the leaking is really upsetting me. perhaps new rings. 7ml is super but really odd on 22mm devices imo. darnit. I bet they update the mini in a few weeks so whatever. black one does look sharp though. if not too big for my needs.

I got one from vape super saver today. I have 3 STMs (original airflow control) and I'm very pleased with this STP. To me its just about perfect. I'm using the RBA section with a 0.6 ohm twisted 28ga coil.

The airflow of the RBA deck is ever-so-slightly more open than my STMs. Very close. Have not used an OCC yet.

The AFC has dual 1.4mm-ish holes, dual 2.5mm-ish holes, and dual large slots. The tiny holes are a very welcome addition, as it makes the Plus easy to use as a mouth-to-lung tank.

The juice channels look the same as my STMs, but I'm getting around 5 more watts out of it than I would on my STMs. (25w vs. 30w)

I'm also suprised that the 25mm diameter is looking good with a number of my mods. I intended on using it with my bap DNA40 (which can take a ~30mm atty without any overhang), but its as wide as the Sigelei 100/150 with silicone sleeve as well as my old Vaporshark DNA30 with sharkskin. It's narrower than my old Hana but will not screw down enough to make contact.

I'm anxious to try an OCC in it as well as building it around 1.2ohm to use as a M-T-L tank.

Got mine today and so far very happy with it the changes to airflow are good leaking isn't an issue but hasn't been on my two subtank originals I decided to use the .5 occ for a change pretty good but rba section will be in soon as the premades are not as good as the rba. All in all its a good move on from the original and for me was cheaper then my last two.

I got it. darnit I prefer the airflow on the mini. plus the coil cartridge does not grab the threads as quickly as the mini. either the threads on the chimney are rough or I stripped the coil. I am guessing the latter.it can't be 25mm but guess it counts as it. the subtank v1 is 25mm. this is 25.3mm. plus hole for drip is wider after I went out and got a $45 tip just for the mini. that stuff does not affect everybody though. I needed to know. perhaps I will grow into it.
