This is why I will avoid all KangerTech products in future.

Got a ProTank 3 with 2 coils that both shorted on me and the picture I posted is why. You can actually see where the short occurred on both of the dual coils.

Luckily for me, I bought them from a company that I trust and they are replacing them for free but I chose the wrong tank for my Vamo :(

Iv never had a problem with any of my kanger tanks except for the unitank.
I've always preferred the single coils over the dual tho seems lots of people are having problems with the dual coils so I can't speak to much on the subject. I am having more problem with my nautilus coils then any of my kangers

This is my first experience with Kanger and it was bad. I won't be giving them any more of my hard earned :(

I use the Kanger ProTanks and Davides, both sizes, and prefer the single coil which I've learned to easily recoil and wick with cotton. Don't think it's the tank you're having trouble with, but the coil assembly. :)

You're right. No problems at all with the tank as it doesn't leak but I wish those 8 year old Chinese kids could make better coils :)

Stuff happens. Don't write off a whole line because of one batch. Can happen to any mass produced item, especially on the cheap end.

I use a lot of Kanger and Davide toppers, and don't pay much attention to which coil goes in which one, as they're interchangeable. (Using single coil version on all.) Making your own coils isn't too hard, and then you can compete with those kids - and do a better job than any machine, anyway.

Don't use the dual coil set up on the kanger's. The way it is designed in complete garbage. If you run the single coils it will be a lot better and you will be happier. I rebuild all my kanger coils with 8 wraps of 30ga kanthal on a needle tip. Burn on device and smush together with tweezers. Comes out to about 1.2 - 1.2 ohms. Wick with cotton and throw a flavor wick on top. Works better than anything I've ever bought before.

I need to watch a lot more tuts on youtube about this. The number of blown coils I've had outnumbers my good ones :)

I promise it's really not that hard. I watched one video on YouTube for rebuilding kanger coils and I had it down pat! If you have an AVP (ie. not a stick battery) you should be able to check resistance and most AVP's will fire a 1.2 ohm coil.
