Hey guys, I asked this in the new member section because my post count wasnt enough at the time and havent got an answer for it yet. So I just started with the whole horizontal silica wick style atomizers (just picked up an Odysseus) but I'm already pretty comfortable with geni's (currently own ZAU, AC9, AGA-T+). So my question is, could I use the same logic for both? is there a huge difference in using 28g vs 32g on silica, i mean obviously the whole resistance in coalition to coils still comes into play but aside from that. Are there any other benefits to using 28g over 32g or vice versa?

Besides getting a much larger heating area per ohm, it last much longer, I have a 28g oval wick in an A7 for several months and it is still going strong after many rewickings. Pic is the A7 but I use the same 28 or 30g oval coil on Vivi Nova, CE5, and Ody with hemp wicks.
