kanthal and ni200 together Atomizer short message

I made a coil with 26 gauge kanthal and 26 gauge ni200 put in the rda that came with my kanger mini subtank it and tryed it in my istick 40w tc getting error message Atomizer short tryed in my defender 36w same message but it reads good on my tester and thoughts?

I don't have that mod. Does the istick autodetect Ni wire, or do you set the mode?

The istick 40TC has a third button between the up/down arrows for selecting modes
