Kanthal Flat Ribbon?

Where to get Kanthal flat ribbon? If so, for which type should I be aiming for in terms of resistance? I always use a 28 kanthal wire A-1 resistance. What's the best choice?

I get mine from here Zivipf.de if you're in EU. I like 0.5x0.1mm since thats the widest you can fit on an average genesis while getting up enough resistance for regulated batteries.

As for what size to get you pretty much have to go by the ohms per inch data for each size. I tried ribbon wire for a bit, but found it too difficult to work with, too springy. Also I could not just slip my mesh wick out of it to burn off the coil, then slip it back in easily as I can with round kanthal.

I would vote for "most common" , which is - 0.5x0.1mm / 27,0 Ohm/m
