What show are you working?
Tallahassee.

A man watching Geordi's first run said "he has a strong herding drive and is smart. Bet in a few runs he will be herding those things". Sure enough, by the 3rd run he was trying to herd the lure!

I can't resist I have a brag for my young (he will be 2 March 28) Belgian Tervuren, Geordi.

This weekend in Lakeland Florida he earned his CAT title. No, that's no like a kitty cat, it's Coursing Ability Test. It's chasing, full out, a couple of plastic bags on a device attached to a line that zooms around a big field. Turns, straight lines, 600 yds (for his size dog, smaller dogs only run 300 yards). After he had so much fun at the Doggie Fun Zone, I decided to enter him. Well, he is now an official Coursing dog. My husband says he has his CBC - Champion Bag Chaser. I told him "Hey, it's not every dog that will run full out in a big open field at top speed chasing plastic bags on a track then come back to the owner when called." Actually, they don't have to return to the handler, they get to rip at the bags until the handler goes and gets them, but Geordi was a good boy and came right to me when I called him. Some were very funny, they would take off, zooming around this huge field. One Boston Terrier took 6 people to corner him before someone could catch him. Others just zoom from the start - the heck with the plastic bags, I'm FREE!!!! It was actually much fun to watch. By his third run (2 on Saturday, 1 on Sunday - it takes 3 successful runs for the title), I had all I could do to hold him back getting to the starting line. Oh, they run individually, not as a group.

I could not video or take pictures, he was too far away to even make it make sense with my phone camera. There was a photographer on Saturday, however, so hopefully he got some good pictures.

So here he is, Bijou Luisant Kontinuing Mission, CAT CGC. The rosette is a New Title ribbon. CGC is Canine Good Citizen, also a test we took last year.

How about a kayfun lite/plus? you can do the airflow mod to it (drilling out the airflow iirc) but as it is, it's pretty airy...made me a believer and works like a dream on my P3 when I do decide to tootle lol.
I have parts to build a Kayfun lite in my wish list at FT. I may pull the trigger on them tonight since I won't have to pay for them until it's shipped.

    Great price! Thanks sweetie!!
@kad2371 Is this the one you have? The actual mod, not gold.
Yep, I have the red one. That Gold Edition is sweet looking though!:hubba:
I should mention I hate the battery cap on it too, but YMMV.

Good morning, Y'all! Had a nice long three-day weekend and managed to get a bit of rest. Lazy days with intermittent naps. :D Now it's back to the grindstone... :|

Le sigh. Settled in for last evening. EARLY flight in the a.m. SO will have a healthy drive back from airport after I get on the plane. Wish I could stay longer, but it has been an amazing week. Got some seafood on and plenty of time in the sun and water. Even got SO to try conch fritters!!!! She doesn't do seafood, but we found a little spot right on the water that was beautiful.

Kaez, haven't heard any DB updates. Hoping all is well. Kad and Atcha, lifting you up. Tejas, hope you are well. All the folks with health issues, keeping you in my prayers. Kodak, missing you..... Mark, hope your eyes are doing well. Lynn, b.m., TinMan, whodat, Bea, Cathy, OB, LB, just hope everyone is doing o.k.

    MWAH!!!!

Glad you made it home safe and had such an awesome time down in sunny FL with SO!

My Darling Bride is doing well. Still frustrated with the whole non-weight-bearing cast on her leg and the brace on her wrist, but she's managing. I'm just hoping that we can get her appetite up a bit more this week. The chemo is really knocking her down this go-round and she isn't eating as well as I'd like. :( Blood sugars have been a whole lot more stable this time, though, so that's one good thing! Other than that, it's just one day at a time, Darlin'... but you're quite familiar with that yourself. ;)

So sorry i missed it!! Hope you had an amazing birthday with DB even if ya did have to work OT. Love you oodles!!

My bday isn't until July and my license does expire this year, but I really need to get it done soon. My addy hasn't been correct since 2012 on it. At least now I can renew it rather than just paying to change the addy.

Meh... it was a Thursday. ;) We don't really celebrate B-days too much any more, so nothin' special. Love you too, Doodlebug! Thank you!

For an address change, you can do that online... I forget how much they charge for that, though... I wanna say that it's $25, but I could definitely be wrong there...

I gotta ask y'all who live "south" - is the speed limit merely a suggestion? I swear, driving down last weekend, I was doing 75-80 and I'd either pass a couple of stragglers or I'd get passed like I was stopped!

:p Those are mere suggestions no matter where I am!

Welcome Mongo! I know we haven't officially met, but I've been trying to catch back up on the FP and haven't gotten around to posting over there in a while. I've seen some of your posts though, so for me, it kinda feels like I already know ya! :D GREAT group of folks over here, and I'm sure you'll fit right in!
Not real sure what your preferred beverage is, so I'll just pour ya a Margarita Pool! :D:D:D

Sloth! What's up, my Brother? I've been neglecting the Rayon thread for a while now, so I've been missin' all of y'all over there. Hope things have been well with you, and it's damn good to see ya 'round here! Have a drink, man!
