The smallest breeds such as chihuahuas and yorkies tend to be more aggressive than larger breeds… the Napoleon syndrome :D
LOL... Yea, I call it the yappy little dog syndrome...
This Chihuahua was especially mean.
She had 2 years worth of constant agitation but no obedience training before coming to live with me.
The kids doing the agitation had seen me working with guard dogs and they thought it was cool to imitate me and agitate their new puppy.
By the time she came to live at my house she was a vicious little monster.

Just happened to notice your quote from Van Morrison. One of my two most favorite songs EVER is "Light my fire" the other one being "White rabbit". Boy do they bring back memories from my hippie days when I lived in a commune in the 60s every time I listen to them...loud :)

Among other hats I've worn..I used to train dogs, mostly attack.
So I've owned a lot of big mean dogs most of which were terrified of thunder.
My last big dog, a Rottweiler I named G.I. Joe wasn't afraid of anything.
He was a bad dude pacifist..would stand between
my old lady and me and growl until we chilled whenever we argued.

One evening we got a sudden thunderstorm and my old lady's Chihuahua wouldn't let Joe
into either of the dog houses outside so Joe came and laid down by the back door as close to his master as he could be..right next to a bent ham antenna I'd taken off the tower and had leaning on the fascia...

In the morning I couldn't budge the back door open..walked around to find my buddy Joe dead
he had been hit by lightning...He should have been afraid.

G.I. Joe RIP

As Karma would have it months later I made a pit stop here and left the gate open.
Old lady had been napping, woke up and let her Chihuahua out to pee not noticing the gate was open.
I heard a squeal and thought "I hope 'Gita didn't let the dog out"...She had
and a truck doing construction on the expressway had flattened her..
she shouldn't have gone out the driveway to smell my truck tires.

This is my dog now. A Bichon Frise named Jyoti, isn't afraid of anything
only goes outside with supervision View attachment 696735
That is so sad! But the new girl is pretty!

Light My Fire...LOL. I sneaked into the famous Doors concert at Dinner Key Auditorium in '69
Yes, he did do what they say he did. I had an older chick sitting on my shoulders
who got all exited and darn near made me a hunchback.

Tell me you were one of those folks..the Family living in Ocala National Forest...
The gang who ran 'The Farm' in Homestead (since sold to an Amish group)?

Wow!!! I envy you having been at THAT concert. And wow now we know for sure that he did it!

The closest I came to being at a famous concert was Chicago (the group)!

Nope on location. My commune was in Montreal, Canada.

Yes, he did it..they were playing 'Touch Me'.
There are many apologists on many websites who claim he didn't..but he did.

I'll think about envying your adventures in Montreal.

I never saw Chicago..though I did drive by the Windy City once. But I did go see It's a Beautiful Day
at Dania Speedway..and B.B. King at the UM Student Union. Three Dog Night.. somewhere (?)
I'm sure I was at a few other concerts but...I'm lucky I still remember my name.

I was on FB the other day and saw a recipe that looked wonderful. The person had slit hotdogs and added shredded cheese then wrapped the dogs in jalapeno peppers. My daughter saw the same thing. She brought home some jalapeno peppers.
We had them for dinner tonight.

3 or 4 months ago I picked up a couple Sapor RDAs and the conversion kits to make them bottom feeders. I used one of them and replaced the RDA I was using on my REO Grand. I really like the deck for building the dual coils. I also had picked up the Kanger Dripbox 160. I was not happy with the RDA that came with it or the coils. To me, the RDA had too much air and the vape was too hot. Today, I pulled the spare Sapor and using the conversion kit I turned it into a bottom feed RDA. So far the dual SS316L coils at .25Ω are giving me a much better vape. The TC is also a good deal.

Sorry, Darlin'... I didn't mean to freak you out. SS is perfectly fine and safe to use on mechs, it just isn't my preference. I had the same issue with Ti. It worked well enough, but I just wasn't quite happy with the vape I was getting from it.

Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood Morninz!!!!!

Whew - what a "do nothing" weekend. I think I slept all but about 6 hours on Saturday. I actually feel a bit better....

Sunday morning, though, I pulled an "SO". I was bringing up clothes from the basement, and I misjudged the last couple of steps. Slammed my shin into the landing to the kitchen (which is tile flooring) Fortunately, under control fairly quickly, but the "delightful" experience of seeing blood running down my leg and foot {barf} wasn't quite how I wanted to start my morning :pervy:

SO is fighting a cold - she's cranky  Got nuttin' to help her feel better....

Wishing you all a PLRS day!

@Kenna SS316 fluctuation under heat is what he means by unstable. As wire heats up, it's resistance changes. You don't notice it as much with Kanthal, because of it already being higher resistance than other wires. You also don't notice it with Titanium or Nickel because you don't run those in wattage mode. You also usually lock your ohms with those wires as well. Because as nickel heats up, it's resistance changes as well. A lot. Meaning 20 watts one second might be something totally different the next. Same applies to Titanium. As it heats up, it's resistance changes. Just not as much.

It's not as bad with thinner wire. 24 - 20g 316 is hideous though.
