Thank you for asking. I am doing OK, it is a slow process. I have been getting lost in my driving simulation game on the PS4. I bought it for the grandkids for when they visit and picked up some games I like. When they show up they bring their controllers and games.Great to see you @Kodak how ya doin hun??

We went to the Hogtown Midieval Faire in Gainesville, FL today cuz we love these events. We don't dress up, but love the people watching. Geesh, we thought we could give up dog shows, do tricks with the dogs, our leather work is better than most we saw, and join the Midieval gypsy Troup. Na, no, way, Nada, hubby is not a camper.

. For the last 2-3 months I have been in my medieval history period. Reading Historical novels as well as everything about daily like. Putting it on my calendar for next year.
@Bea-FL , it's still on today! LOL! I didn't know you like this kind of entertainment, next year I will remind you of the dates! It is weekends (last weekend and this weekend) and was Friday at 1/2 price. We could't go Friday due to other commitments. Maybe next year we can plan on a Friday meet up!
We couldn't go as hubs had to work. But he will take a Friday vacation day next year. Yes! Lets meet up!!!
I took a look at it. I don't like button shirts, and really want pockets in the britches, but thanks. Plus, can't sew worth a hoot. But I do have a sewing machine on letgo in my favs. it's a very simple on they are selling for $50 This summer I will have a dog sitting job for around 200 and depending on what else I need I may be able to get a simple cheap machine and slowly as I can afford fabric etc, be able to practice. May have to wait til I get my disability for something like that. We'll see.

I got https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01435LTUW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 so I wouldn't have to fool around with buttonholes. They are quick, and more dependable than metal ones. The little spike deforms to hold them on. And the underside is just another button-top. Many colors available, very inexpensive but in big packages.
I have to have pockets, right now I am using my TENS every waking hour. I am going to get this sciatica flare-up in control, even if I have to get a stomach perforation and/or die of electrocution to do it.
I do like the snaps mary linked, but my biggest issue is the gaps. But sewing your own, you could put more snaps in. They are certainly easier to get on and off than pulling something over your head. Sometimes that's pretty uncomfy when my shoulder is acting up. So if I were sewing my own, I'd like to do the snaps and just put more on in strategic places. But my fav top is a tank top
Yeah, if I find another piece of fabric I like, I will be spacing the snaps closer together. But right now I am considering buying some more leggings. And a better TENS unit.
My mom used to make me western style shirts with snaps. I loved them. When she was learning how to sew, she made clothes for my sisters Barbie dolls. I wish I had a picture of the wedding dress she made my oldest sister. One of these days I will have to see if the local paper has a copy of the wedding story that was done for her wedding.
