howdy, brother!
Hey man! Nice little niche ya carved out over here! I've been trying to bounce around the boards a little more than usual and get some explorin' in, but haven't spent much time in da Lounge. Just might have to change that!

@Canno - something to keep in mind, if they are seeing a number of warranty issues, they may be playin' CYA by telling their folks to squeak about low stock, to stall - depending on your preference, may be worth sending it in to em and then following up with a call every couple-four days...if they are squeakin about low stock, i can't help but wonder how many warranty issues they are dealing with... ugh.![]()

Oh, you ARE a naughty one, Mssr. LeBooThasss why I LURVES ya!
One of Bill's philosophies is that vanillas and creams tend to "smooth" and "round out" a lot of the fruits. I finally had to opt for a larger bottle of BC mahself. Oh, and the Peaches & Cream that's in the spreadsheet - that's from Mssr. Kazizzle himself
@Kaezziel, thanks for answering my call{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}} to you and Mrs. Kaezziel. Me and the Good Lord have regular conversations about you two....

I've got several, RDAs and RTAs. I threw a titanium build into a Derringer and ran that on the Target for a little while at 350°F. Worked really well! I also have a Silver Play V2 that I like a lot, but it usually lives on my Invader Mini. Hmmm... Mutation X, Hobo, a couple of old Tobhs, and an Orchid V2 that needs a new tank... I think I'd really like to put that one on the Target. Unfortunately it took one too many drops and cracked the tank...
Mostly I've just been running the Target tank with the kanthal coils in power mode though... LOVE this thing!
I love the crazy flavor it givesOnly negative that I have about it is that it doesn't like to be carried in my jacket pocket at work--it likes to leak a little if it's sideways. Of course, it's one of the sample wins, so when I order the purple one that issue may have been resolved.
Hmmm... I've got a white/orange sample that I won on the HG give-away thread too. Haven't noticed any real leaking, but I keep mine in my hand 24/7!Honestly though, yeah, I've noticed a little bit, but mostly when I cheat and put a drop down on the coil or overfill a bit. It is a PITA to clean out the little well where the positive pin is! Especially if it gets over that little wall and down to the air slots....
Have you had any issues with that tank gurgling a lot? Mine never spits, but it does like to gurgle. (And I better not hear a word from LLB or DC about my choice of wording)
He has enough on him. It's no biggie. Just kind of tells me a little about Madvapes and I can't as yet recommend a Koopor to friends. If I need a mod that bad, I'll ask lots of questions, do some research and take a mortgage on the house and buy one.If madvapes isn't responsive, try low tar Neil.
I've never really had the opportunity to gurgle... and never looked for said opportunity. Just not my cuppa joe...![]()
But nah, mine is pretty quiet... I run minimum 70vg in all my juices though. A thinner juice may work through the cotton and ceramic though... what blend are you using?
I make mine 30pg/70vg. Hmm...I'll have to put more thought into it.
Funny how stuff works. I found the STM to be one of the easiest tanks to coil. Wicking was a little tougher. Then came the Bachelor by Ehpro....absolutely the easiest ever for coiling and wicking.........at least for me.Don't forget -- FastTech KUNGHEI 20% off coupon code time
@Amlowe -- On coils, there's a baby step way to try it, use pre-wrapped coils. I picked up a pack of 10 1.2 ohm for all of $2 from FT before I got my coil building stuff in. A pair of needle nose pliers to bend the legs to tie them onto the RBA, a screwdriver to tighten things, and a lil japanese cotton is all it takes. I only used 1 of the 10 coils before my wire and wrap tool came in. How easy it is to install a coil varies - I found the kanger STM RBA deck a PITA for my first try, while the TFV4 TF-R1 was very easy.
The tf-r1 has a gorgeous open deck, and the legs go into drilled tunnels, so I didn't have to futz with trying to trap the legs under screw heads; just a quick crimp to lock the legs into the tunnels, then tighten the screws. With STM I had the tiny screws popping out and a bear of a time trimming things and aligning the coil, so it didn't flop down on the deck itself. For someone experienced no doubt the Kanger is fine, but as a true newb, and clumsy, the r1 winsFunny how stuff works. I found the STM to be one of the easiest tanks to coil. HOLY SCHNIKEYS!!!!!!
My HeavenGifts order is expected to be delivered MONDAY!!!!!! I just placed the order two dayz ago!!!!!!
So, paid a lil fer shipping - maybe thinking it's worth it?
NEW TOYZ ON MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!!
I get ya. The STM takes no bending of the legs, just slip it under the screw head and tighten. The wicking was a different story, was a real pain for a while, but once I saw a post by somebody (don't remember who) that part was really easy too. But I do understand, I was ready to toss it for a while. The tf-r1 has a gorgeous open deck, and the legs go into drilled tunnels, so I didn't have to futz with trying to trap the legs under screw heads; just a quick crimp to lock the legs into the tunnels, then tighten the screws. Yeah, that's what most of mine are too... hmmm... how tight is your airflow? That's the only other thing that I can think of that might cause it to gurgle...
It's usually about halfway closed, and I typically never set it higher than 20-22 watts.
