I am so glad my work week from hell is over!!! Not only am I dealing with learning a whole new skill set but I'm also having to deal with an unreal personality. Just think...I have to do it all over again on Monday. Ugh...

Not liking, because I feel you.

It's unreal...I'm learning receiving. Parts come in from vendors, we go and get them, measure and approve them then take them back. Once they've been approved they go to location and put in use. I work on a table with a guy, who incidentally rides to and from work with me everyday, and another woman. Some of the parts we do on site. I was told that anytime a part was brought up that I've never done to come up with it. So on Tuesday, we got a couple of parts that I've never done so I come up with the guy(my trainer). The other woman wouldn't speak to either of us the rest of the day. Would only speak to me on Wednesday if I asked her a question, wouldn't speak to the guy at all. Thursday, same thing. Finally today, because he was paying more attention to her than me, she was her normal self. He's 17 years my junior, a really nice guy( he changed my tire on Wednesday) but I don't want him. And he's not interested in her at all. I have 3 months of this crap to go through!! Ay yi yi...

Learning something new is what you wanted, learning to work with new peeps is part of the deal.

She's not a new peep. I've worked with her for a year and a half but not this closely. I've just never had to deal with jealousy before. He's a friend, my trainer and nothing more.

'tis true... we are, collectively, somewhat skilled in the subtle rhythms of shenaniganery...
Only somewhat skilled? Last time I checked we had a couple of Master Level Shenaniganators in here, and you happen to be one of 'em.
Wait, you said collectively so that means some of us are below the level of "somewhat" in order to balance out the masters to get the average to be "somewhat" so what is below somewhat? Let's see, I think I heard a word once that meets that criteria, that's right, I got it, nonesuch.
Did you just call me a Nonesuch?

And for what it's worth..it doesn't matter to me what she likes or how she acts, I'm there to learn a new skill set. And to gain more money. My single mindedness and determination to level up and get that raise is unshakeable regardless of her. :)
