You should be fine with the .5Ω coil. Sub ohming doesn't really mean the same thing that it used to. Back in the day, that was the only way to get huge cloud production out of a mechanical mod. Regulated mods weren't capable of even firing sub ohm builds, and had to use 1.8Ω+ coils to even function.

Fast forward to today. Regulated mods can push upwards of 200W, and can fire very low resistance coils. That doesn't mean that you have to push them hard, though. You can run a 0.5Ω coil at 15W and still get a vape from it. It'll be a rather cool vape and won't make huge clouds, but the flavor will still be there. Today's regulated mods pretty much make resistance irrelevant. You can basically just throw in any coil that you want and then adjust the wattage to get the vape exactly the way that you want it.

When I got home my Encom Voidray was there, unfortunately DOA -- the shipping package was in perfect shape, but the PV did nothing when I put in a fresh battery and did the power cycle sequence. Evan was his usual prompt self, told me how to send in a warranty email with short video (boring, shows a blank screen that stays blank )

Have to see whether another Voidray is en route or a Pico (I mentioned that in my email -- same price point, seems to be in full production). With a multi month mfg delay followed by receiving a DOA, Encom's QC is kinda iffy to me. Not HG's error -- they are super generous, having contests for the latest gear, so a random whoops by a supplier is a shrug.

Oh good Lord...I just realized that FT split my shipments stupid lol....My tanks will be arriving in one and replacement coils for those tanks in another. But....3 of em are in Chicago!! I might have em by this weekend

All that's left to ship is the stuff I really really want...A hobo, a stumpy, a goblin mini set, and my purple Target!

I was shocked actually...Looking forward to getting it though--It looks like a really good tank. Knowing how fast HG sends out those giveaway wins, it'll probably be here before I get my FT orders lol! I'm really wanting one of those Pico's now though...hmm...wonder if I have time to shop before court....

Awww....poor kitty. She needs to stay hydrated because cats will dehydrate fast and that can cause all sorts of problems. My thoughts and prayers are with you and kitty!

I used to be the same way. Now I run much higher wattage, but it depends on the atty. If it has enough airflow, then high wattage isn't a problem for me. I just open it up as far as it'll go and that tends to cool the vape enough that I can handle pretty much any wattage. On the Stumpy, I'm using the really short metal drip tip and running at 50W... no burnt lip because the airflow keeps it cool enough to vape for me.

Mornin' Sweetheart... just a tip to get Kitty to drink. Try giving her some wet (canned) food and mix a bit of extra water in with it. That's what we do with our boys.

Yup. Male cats have a higher tendency to get dehydrated and get kidney stones, so we took them off of dry food completely and just switched them to wet food. I also keep a bottle of water near where I get their food ready and always add a little bit extra (about a tablespoon or so). It might take her a little time to get accustomed to the new food, but it would definitely be better for her.

Try not to work too hard, Darlin'. I know ya gotta do what ya gotta do, but you need to take care of you as well.

I ordered 25 Wotofo 28AWG twisted kanthal 1 ohm coils yesterday from FT, already listed as shipped I'm fine rolling my own, but it can be nice to have pre-wound when I'm lazy, and it looks like they ship in neat little plastic tubes, each holding 5 coils; those would be nice for travel.

You really shouldn't give adult cats, cows milk. They lack the lactase enzyme, making them basically lactose intolerant. It can cause upset stomach, and the d word.
