Not that I was aware of. I know how to rebuild the old style v1 OCC heads, but didn't think there was any other way to rebuild for the Nano.

$5.59 Authentic KangerTech SUBTANK Mini RBA Plus Coil Head - stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

$3.22 Replacement Nano RBA Coil Head for SUBTANK Clearomizer at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

On the first, the diameter is listed as 13.4mm, and on the 2nd it's 12.5mm.

Rewicked the Av24 today (I'm used to doing that every 3 days, after 45 - 50ml). The old wick was still fine, quite clean, but it also helps to practice. New wick is working great, zero leaks lying down. AFfter two clean wick rounds I have the AV24 wicking down -- awesome tank :)

Is yours an authentic or a clone?

Good morning folks! Giving you all a heads up...I'm retreating back to my hole for a little while. Not going to take out my account this time, just going to take a break from here.

At one time they were talking about making an rba for it, but I don't know if they ever got around to it....Now I'm going to have to go look on FT and see lol.

Maybe set him up with an old school carto-tank? ;) Those were actually perfect for me when I was still fighting the urge to smoke. Those should be pretty cheap, these days...

He's not going to go for anything that takes much time to use or maintain since he works 70-80 hours a week. Besides, I wouldn't even know what to do with those lol....I never used one :D

That may be, but I hate to see someone get started these days on something that CAN'T be rebuilt. Which seems to be the case with the Nano, unless you find someone with a stash of the old V1 heads that haven't been available for months.
Regardless, I find myself not touching the Nano or Ego One tanks anymore. So if they will help someone else quit smoking then I'm happy to pass them on along with the small handful of heads I have.

I have several of the old v1 heads for the Nano--they are in my pile to "learn how to rebuild" :) I have never thrown any of my used coils away cause I always figured that if I could, I'd give rebuilding them a try.

Oh, they were low maintenance, for sure... the only down side was the occasional DOA carto. You'd get it all juiced up, tucked into the tank, fill the tank, and then hit the fire button and nothing would happen.... and then :-x...

Other than that, they were pretty awesome!

These are extras, long format 45mm. I only use the shorter ones (which I have a bunch of).

@Kodak

Smok Tech UDCT locking tank. Check with @tejas - he might have a couple spare cartos?

ETA, like Kaz says, pretty easy to use. I had a couple, but I hated the draw (too tight) for me

I've bookmarked em to look later. I don't think I've even seen a picture of one before. I know he's looking for something that would be similar to the draw of a Camel Menthol ciggy, so if the draw is tight enough it might work.

They are a pretty tight draw, and it really isn't adjustable. The bottom of the positive pin on a carto has a little hole in it (kinda like for a squonker). That's your airhole. It draws air in through the 510 pin and threads. You know how some mods have channels on top that go to the 510? Those were there for attys that used bottom air like the cartos. ;)

Supposedly, the Mini RBA Plus is "supposed" to work on the Nano. I know the issues with the regular rba's was the height. I'll have to see if the mini rba's I ordered are the plus versions or not and try it to see if they fit in my nano.

*edit* I just looked at my FT order from a few months ago, and all of them that I received are the rba plus....I'll try plugging one into the nano tonight and see if it fits! The dimensions it gives on the "authentic" is:
DEPTH 13.4 mm HEIGHT 22.3 mm WIDTH 13.4 mm
Even the clone pack I got has those dimensions.

I'll check as well - I'm pretty stoked by the one I'm using today, and wouldn't mind that it would work in the Nano tank....

I'd like to know for sure as I think my Nano is the only tank in my stable that doesn't have "build" capability. I made sure the tanks I ordered for me back in March are all rebuildable in one fashion or another. And I'm not giving up my pretty purple Nano :D
