Nice! That's a solid testimonial right there! Anything that can handle hittin' a dash board at 60mph and keep workin' is worth puttin' in the arsenal!
Yeah, unfortunately the car didn't fare as well. Some of y'all might remember this from the Clouper thread, right around when I joined ECF last September.

I got to spend a whole week sitting in front of my computer meeting all the great people in the contest thread last September, which is where I first met some of the fabulous shenaniginators! And I got a new car. Considering they had to take both the front and back doors off to get me out, yeah I was pretty lucky to have nother more than some bruises, cuts, and scrapes. (think seat belt rash, it literally burned a hole in the shirt I was wearing)
I felt it for a looooong time though, and still occasionally do I think.

Been there; done that. But I've managed to get myself out of all of my wrecks. Nothing that has been quite as extreme as the one you just posted. Of course, all of mine were clunkers with liability insurance, so I never managed to get a new car out of it... just another clunker.

Hi ho hi ho...its at work I go. Or rather, I'm already here. Have a good one everyone!
Brother Kaz  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!

You too, Sweet Pea!!! Try not to let 'em work ya too hard, okay?:wub::wub:

I'm still partial to my l'il green monsters. Just got 8 new VTC4s. :D:D:D
The couple VTC4s that I have are earmarked for one purpose. Mechs if I build lower than right around .5 (and that's just me being overly cautious, my 25Rs would still be fine lower than that), otherwise they are useless to me due to capacity. Tootsie rolls in all my regulated mods.

Yeah... battery life sucks, but I HAVE to have them for my mechs, and so, I just use them in everything. I've got two pair earmarked for nuptials very soon. They'll be living in the Fuchai and the Tesla. Everything else is free to move around as they see fit. :)

I have a VTC mini that has seen some abuse in the past year (including flying through a suddenly stopped car and slamming into the dash at 60 miles per hour ) and the only issue with it so far is a couple of spots of silver showing through the black, and a magnet that I keep forgetting to put a dab of superglue on so it will stay where it belongs when I swap batteries.

Mine takes some serious abuse too and is still ticking right along. Like you though, I gotta remember to glue that 1 magnet back in lol.

Concept borrowed from the Reauleaux 2/3? Add the larger battery compartment piece and get the extra power available.

Nice om vapor 3 day sale. EatCloudsFDA is good for 50% off their DIY WTA (& some other stuff)

    I love that!

Nice! I can't wait to try it out, and I'll mostly be running it at really low wattage because I got a tank for it that uses the Vaporesso cCells. I max out on those at around 40W, but I start them out closer to 25W. Sounds like I'll probably need to start around 15-20W on the Fuchai. I also picked up some of the SS cCells, so maybe I'll get to play with the TC mode and still get that ceramic tastiness! :D
Ugh... my overtime has been next to nothing for the past two years. This oilfield crunch is definitely hurting my bank account. I'm just doing the best that I can at riding it out until things turn around. Then we'll probably be back to working 12 hour days and going 6 days a week. That's how it was before the crunch...
Yeah,40-45 watts seems to be my sweet spot with my coils around .35 ohms.Occasionally i will bump it up to around 50 watts, but that doesn't last long before i end up lowering it back down.My blue one will be here tomorrow, and i have to work,so i will have to suffer all day knowing my new toy is sitting at home waiting on me haha.
As for the overtime,i hate it.I don't make huge money, but i make enough to get the bills paid, and still have a little spending money, and that's all i need,i don't want to work more than 40 hours a week,i just hate it haha. That is the one downfall to where i work though, during the winter time, especially January through mid March,we get so slow that i'm lucky to get 25 hours a week if that, but from mid July through the first part of September,i average around 60 hours a week, working 6 days a week.If it were the opposite and we worked all the overtime in the cold months,i probably wouldn't mind it so much, but after working all those hours in 100+ degree heat,my only day off,i can't do anything because i'm exhausted,so most of my summer gets spent doing nothing in my free time.

I shouldn't have given any thought to whether I wanted to work tomorrow. The PTB took it out of my hands. They won't let the guy who said he'd work for me do just that as they had placed him somewhere else. So....7 day week here I come for the 3rd week in a row.

I have to tell y'all about a texting convo I had with my daughter yesterday. She works in an ENT clinic at Duke. A few months ago, she sends me a text telling me that Brett Eldridge(up and coming country singer) is a patient at the clinic and she had met him. So I was at break yesterday and I get a text from her saying that Brett came in yesterday. Seems that he gave one of her coworkers a couple of tickets for the concert last night. He's opening for Keith Urban. Her coworker couldn't go so she offered the tickets to Laura. Laura didn't take them because she had no one to go with her. I told her I would have taken off work, taken a point and went with her because I love Keith Urban! She said that she didn't know that and I told her that she should've texted me. She found out later that the tickets were for front row and had meet and great passes attached. I was mad at her and depressed for the rest of the night! Lol
