Hmmmmm...You're the first person I've spoke to that's every played with one. So, the clone sucks... the authentic, may still suck, but may have some slightly better parts. What about the Bambino? Any experience with that one? I'm looking for a tiny little SS rda that is either made for squonking or is easily modded to squonk with.
The clone definitely sucks, due to the splash guard thing mostly, the screws barely grabbing the wire sucked too,but was easy enough to work around.I have seen very mixed reviews on the authentic,if you search lowpro in the rda section, there is an older thread on it there,a few liked it,and quite a few didn't if i remember right.
I've never tried the Bambino.I did consider buying it for a while, but since i already have derringers and stumpy's,i decided it probably wasn't different enough to worry about trying it.
As for small Rda's that are easily modded,i can't remember, did you already mod a stumpy? If not, they are crazy easy to mod.You can get bottom feed positive conatcts from Fat daddy,he sells 2 sizes and i can't remember which size fit the stumpy,i got both sizes, but all you have to do to mod the stumpy is take out the positive screw, drill a 1/16" hole from the bottom straight through the base of the post, then install the fd pin, tighten it up,and grind the head down to where you want it.Very easy to do,i did 2 of them and took maybe 15 minutes to finish both.I have modded several other rda's too,but the stumpy,or any other rda that has the same style post set up is by far the easiest to mod.

I didn't mod the Stumpy, myself. Mine came from Chowderhead. I've got a few RDAs that I'm thinking about modding. Another Stumpy, and Vertex Jr., maybe another one or two that I can't remember. I was thinking about getting the LowPro because it was already BF, all ya gotta do is change the pin. I may still pick up a LowPro... I'm not sure. I'll do a bit more digging and see what turns up. Thanks, man. Your input is very much appreciated, as always! :)

Now, It's time for me to get out of here... I've milked this overtime cow for all it's worth!

Okay, so explain what squonking is....I've heard of it but have no idea what it involves. And Kaz....I am going to figure out how to throw a coil in the stumpy tonight! I've made sure I don't have anything to do so that I can give it a try.
Well ya see darling, when a mod with a big bottle meets an RDA with the right orifice, then they mate and the bottle squirts into that hole.[emoji57]

Ok,yeah,i thought i remembered you mentioning a stumpy on your sqounker, but wasn't sure if it was you or not.On the lowpro, yeah don't let my comment discourage you, like i said i have no experience with the authentic, and i think the drip tip/splash guard on the authentic may be made from delrin, where the one on my clone feels like cheap plastic.I will say, before the black goo,it had great flavor haha, but to be on the safe side,i would watch how high you mount the coils, that is where i screwed up because i'm not used to the drip tip being that close to the coil.
All this talk of the lowpro has rejuvenated my interest in it now,so i think i will pull it out this weekend, find the other drip for it,and give it another go,after i scrape out the black goo haha.
If you don't have an issue with buying clones, there are a few very good ones that come with bottom feed pins. The velocity/velocity mini which i don't personally like on mechs, but work great for me on regulated mods, also the Hobo v3 clone is a good one, there are a few more too,but i can't remember what they are haha.Another that is pretty easy to mod too,is the Dark horse,it's a little more involved than the stumpy, but still pretty easy to do.

Yep, that's the Stumpy that I took pictures of for a build tutorial for Kodak a little bit back. I was thinking about keeping the resistance around 0.5Ω on the LowPro (if I get it) and put it on a mech mod. 26 gauge NiChrome (may have to double up on the legs to lock 'em down), and keep them low in the deck to keep the vape cool. I may go ahead and pick one up, just to try it out. Another option for the drip tip... I have a guy here at work that runs the 3d printers. I may be able to convince him to make me one out of peek. ;) If I can, then I'll have him make two so that I can send ya one.

I've looked at a few different options on fasttech, too.
Sbody Looks a lot like a Hobo.
Nipple Should be easy to modify.
Movkin JC25 Already supposed to be bottom fed.
Vertex Jr. Should be easy to modfiy.

Squonking is vaping with a bottom fed RDA. The mod contains a juice bottle, and when you squeeze the bottle, it squirts juice up into the RDA through a hollow positive pin. It makes dripping very easy and convenient. ;)
Good luck with the Stumpy tonight. If you run into any trouble, let me know in the morning, and I'll try to help ya figure it out.

Did not get a chance to coil it *sigh* As soon as I got home, my brother called me. He went to a vape shop up there in Ohio because he was going to get a bottle of 12 mg (he said the 9 just isn't quite doing it)...He said that it was the worst experience ever! The vape shop only carried 0-3 mg and he said he tried about 10 flavors and all of em tasted like crap. And...they wanted $30 for a 20 ml bottle! So I spent last night mixing up some stuff for him to send out today. The good part is that he is getting really serious about sticking with vaping :D

:( Sorry, Hon! It'll be alright, though. That Stumpy ain't goin' nowhere, and you'll find time to tinker with it soon enough. Besides, takin' care of family is important. :) Very happy to hear that he's sticking with it and figuring out what is going to work for him! :D:D:D

I am tinkering with it tonight! I have a new flavor idea that's been bouncing around in my head for a couple of weeks now and I'd really like to be able to mix and taste test with the stumpy and not have to go through the hassle of filling a tank up, etc.

He did tell me he's going to be dual using until we get it figured out what he needs to be successful and I told him that is fine--lots of people do it that way. One of the ways that I got him to consider getting off the cigs was the cost savings. I sat down and showed him how much he could be keeping in his pockets (effective since him and his SO just bought a house and have lots of ideas for improvements :))
