I am tinkering with it tonight! I have a new flavor idea that's been bouncing around in my head for a couple of weeks now and I'd really like to be able to mix and taste test with the stumpy and not have to go through the hassle of filling a tank up, etc.

He did tell me he's going to be dual using until we get it figured out what he needs to be successful and I told him that is fine--lots of people do it that way. One of the ways that I got him to consider getting off the cigs was the cost savings. I sat down and showed him how much he could be keeping in his pockets (effective since him and his SO just bought a house and have lots of ideas for improvements :))

It is a very good atty for testing flavors. Especially with rayon wicks... they don't tend to hold on to the flavor as much as cotton does, for me, anyway.

Heck yeah, dual using is perfectly fine until he gets his vape dialed in! Although, if I showed him my fasttech wish list, that would negate your point about how much money he'll save...

Missouri...or the state of Misery.

It wouldn't let me post the pic lol. I'm thinking a lot of my procrastination with coil making is because I have bad eyes and after attempting (and much squinting) 1 coil my eyes hurt.

Don't have any rayon wicking stuff yet...it's in the wish list. And quiet! I didn't show him my wishlist for the same reason lol!

I think the first one will work out better for you. That second one, in the link... I looked at those, too. It seems that you can only use one of the loupes at a time, and whatever you're working on has to be about 3/4 of an inch away from the loupe... not gonna leave you much room to work with. Those are more for inspecting jewelry or working on watch gears and stuff.

    to y'all.

    I. Love. Serpent. Mini.

    That is all
Ok darling, I will give mine another shot this weekend. If I am able to make it work in a way I like, I will give you credit for convincing me it was worth the effort. If I can't get it right, I will instead give you another serpent mini.[emoji6]

Okay, question for you guys....I vaguely remember someone saying they had a headset that was lighted and magnifies. Anyone know what I'm talking about, or did the voices in my head just make it up?
Jewelers use something along those lines.

Okay, I'm going with the first set then. They are only $8 and I found a really cool set of tweezers too, so I get 5% off of each :D

I used 26g 3mm coil ringing in about 0.8 ohms. Only running about 19W.

It's either DC's Kink Kake V2 or my best flavor tank....

We're all good. Just an 18" drop onto carpet. Popped the battery from the evic. Living room/dining room painting almost done. Tiny entry way and focal wall left. Lotsa help from a great friend to make this happen. Ceilings in both rooms done too!

Yep, that's the Stumpy that I took pictures of for a build tutorial for Kodak a little bit back. I was thinking about keeping the resistance around 0.5Ω on the LowPro (if I get it) and put it on a mech mod. 26 gauge NiChrome (may have to double up on the legs to lock 'em down), and keep them low in the deck to keep the vape cool. I may go ahead and pick one up, just to try it out. Another option for the drip tip... I have a guy here at work that runs the 3d printers. I may be able to convince him to make me one out of peek. ;) If I can, then I'll have him make two so that I can send ya one.

I've looked at a few different options on fasttech, too.
Sbody Looks a lot like a Hobo.
Nipple Should be easy to modify.
Movkin JC25 Already supposed to be bottom fed.
Vertex Jr. Should be easy to modfiy.
Now peak would make a great drip tip, definitely better than cheap thin plastic haha.
I had never seen any of those atties,so looked at all of them, and yeah they all look fairly easy to mod,and now i have to get that Vertex Jr. haha, that's a very cool looking rda.I like that Sbody too,i agree definitely looks like it was based off of the Hobo. The nipple,i'm not sure i like yet,i wonder what all those threaded holes are for?Looks odd like that haha.

    Hai Krewe.....
I don't want to get into the details, at least not right now. I could use some positive energy, prayers, thoughts, whatever you got to spare, please sent it my direction.

Consider it done, my Brother. Don't know what's going on, and don't need to, but you definitely have my thoughts and prayers with you. :)

Turning the Vertex Jr. into a BF atty looks to be a bit sketchy, but I'll probably do it anyway. Easy to mod, but the bottom air slot is so close to that shallow deck that it's gonna be super easy to over-squonk. The Sbody should be rock solid and good for flavor.
As for the Nipple... those threaded holes are for the airflow. It should come with grub screws that fit the holes, and the grub screws will have different sized holes drill through them. I'll probably end up drilling out the threaded holes and maybe adding a few more. LOL

Yeah, they are down pretty low,but a few light sqounks and should be good to go,plus if you run it with the glass, you could see what's going on in there, although the built in drip tip is huge on the glass so doubt i would use that haha.
That makes sense now on the nipple,i kept looking at the pictures and just staring trying to figure out why they were there haha.
I definitely agree about the Sbody.I love my Hobo mainly because of the threaded top cap,it makes sure it doesn't get knocked loose, and helps seal it better than just an o-ring.I may have to add that to my next cart with them.
