Mine actually likes going to the range. She even has a Walther PPKS (SS .380 with Crimson Trace laser sight built into the grip) and a Henry Lever-Action .22 with the Octagon Bull Barrel that she picked out, herself. ;)

Okay, so GOOD NEWS!!! The prayers and well wishes seem to have worked a miracle. She was accepted into a clinical trial, and not just some brand new trial that rarely has results. This trial has been going on since 2013 and is either considered a "mature" Phase I or some form of a Phase II trial... this is a good thing. She will be getting full therapeutic doses, and they have seen positive results in past patients. It is not a trial of new drugs, but a trial that combines two drugs that have been previously approved by the FDA for other uses. The trial is for the combination of the two. Basicallly, one of the drugs blocks the cancer cell's ability to process its own waste; so the cell dies from its own toxicity. The other drug targets the cancer cell's dna and prevents it from being able to split and divide; stops it from reproducing. So the combination of the two drugs prevent them from making new cells, and kills the existing cells. We are both super excited right now!!! :D
I can't even get my wife to hold any of my guns, she doesn't even want to be in the room if i take one out of the safe haha.I got my concealed carry license earlier this year, and she freaks out if she knows i am carrying,so as sad as it is,i have to be sneaky to keep her from knowing i have it on me,or she won't leave the house with me haha.

That's great news about the clinical trials, especially if they have already seen good results from it,that should be very encouraging for the both of you.As long as your wife keeps even the smallest bit of fight left in her, then she may very well beat this after all, which would be excellent news.

Mine has no problem with guns at all... she was talking about buying me a new Mossberg 30/06 if we get a check back from the hospital. Seems that we may have overpaid, and she wants me to finally have the deer rifle that I've been wanting for years.

Thanks! It was excellent news, and she still has a lot of fight in her. We're definitely keeping our fingers crossed that this time shows some good results! :)

After Skully's Tiny Tim meme earlier today, I entered home singing DW's and my song, Tiptoe Through the Zombies, and she was actually practicing on a ukulele :)

(We're horror fans)

Hahahahahaha! That's awesome! Have you been watching this season of "Fear The Walking Dead"? And we're getting really close to the start of the new season of "The Walking Dead", too! I can't wait! Dying to find out who took the beatdown at the end of last season!!

:( That is NOT good news. :( Sounds like somebody got cocky after finding money on their way to work last night...

Hope they take care of you and that you mend up real soon, Sweetheart!

FTWD has reeked IMO -- waay too much filler. We're definitely looking forward to the start of TWD. We also have to catch up on The Strain, haven't seen any episodes yet this season.
