I swear by Mucinex when I have chest congestion.
this was the first time I'd tried it, but it worked really well. They had bought one that was like cool blast or something like that, and I didn't care much for that. But other than it was pretty good.
She didn't get that from me. I pop out of bed like toast when the alarm goes off.
lmao.....I've been calling the puppy pop tart, cuz I'll be on the couch, and he's not big enough to jump on it yet, but I see a head pop up like he was shot up out of a toaster.
The gig at Safe Launch is temporary. I know that for a fact. The company right now is going
through reassigning and restructuring. From the way I understood it last night, the big boss is coming to do away with the 12 hr cells, put everyone on an 8hr a day, 5 day a week schedule to do away with all the overtime. I was sent to Safe Launch last night because it was the only place I could go. I'm looking forward to the changes whatever they may be.

From what my immediate supervisor said last night, I'm headed back into a cell when one opens up. He said they are looking into one with lighter parts for me to deal with unlike the Corvette parts in the old cell that were way too heavy for me.
oh wow....... 5/week would be soooooo great!!!
Floating is a great way to move up, too. The more areas you get to know means you are more experienced & useful for whatever comes up. The better you handle that & adapt well & quickly, the more doors open.

Jup, but sometimes it can be a pain. I worked at walmart, and could work any dept, so often I was asked to pull double shifts, or come in on days off etc cuz I could fill in for anyone. I could do service desk, layaway, sell ammo all that.
Thank you all for your prayers and well-wishes. We. Are. HOME!!!!!!!!
Now, time to regain some normalcy.
Lurve y'all!!!!
Yay!!! So glad y'all are home and SO is doing much better.
Wow.......all the pics were just stunning, but this one was so amazing!
Still lots going on, and even though it's been a few weeks since I said anything, please keep the prayers coming for me. Just, I guess for everything to work out and for a positive outcome to the whole unspoken situation I'm going
through. Thanks.
always darlin!
Thank you, SweetPea! Yesterday's appointment went well and she was accepted into another trial. It is another oral dose chemo that she'll have to take twice a day with food. I still need to read
through all the paperwork, but the basics is that it blocks MET proteins and hopefully will prevent the tumors from growing. The biggest upside to this trial is all the scans they will do. She'll be getting a full skeletal bone scan and an MRI of her brain to make sure there aren't any tumors in those places.
So glad to hear this! Hope this trial really helps, and the side effects are minimal!
Bought at Totally Wicked, and now they've announced they are closing next year because of FuDA
So sad to hear of another place going out of business.
awwwwwwwwwwww Happy belated birthday to my favorite sloth!

28 years ago, on March 24 1989, Exxon Valdez happened. I worked at the Cinti Zoo at the time. We were all devastated by the event. Being a wild bird rehabilitator at the time I resolved to go help clean up birds. With financial help from some friends i did just that. I spent two weeks in Valdez helping wash wild birds. It was exhausting work but so rewarding to see the birds returned to their world
wow, hard to believe that it's been that long. That's incredible that you were able and willing to do so much! Bless you for that.
Not sure how many people here would have known him, but I found out in a squonk thread at the other forum that Hank Spankman passed away yesterday. From what I know right now it appears to have been unexpected. He was a good guy.
I've said howdy on threads, but didn't really know him. So sad to die so young.
Love you and miss you all. I've been kept super busy with dr appts, gd's birthday and trying to keep up with a puppy!
