Broscience has more of the mm510 large positive nuts in.

Unfortunately Igor forgot to order the special item, 18mm washer that I need for the predator rework. He's poking around to see if anyone else has one, otherwise I'll have to try for it on his next UK order. I'll be be able to complete one of the reworks now, once I get a large nut :)

This little 12mm hole saw bit should arrive today, the perfect size for MM510 12mm cutouts to make negative contacts from copper: https://www.walmart.com/ip/12mm-Cut...Triangle-Shank-Hole-Saw-Cutter-Tool/140703177
What are you making?

I am trying the bottled. Not too bad. Too much sugar, though. Will probably make my own in the near future. Starting out slow, as they said you should because of the amount of probiotics in kefir!! Thank you all! :)
I'm sure you know live-culture yogurt (key word "live") and kefir, both, contain tons of beneficial gut bacteria.

Have you ever tried making yogurt? It's really easy. You can make it at home with a cooler but results will be more consistent with an inexpensive yogurt maker. Beeing Greek, I grew up eating yogurt (the real thing, not the sufary variety). In Greece it is used for lots if recipes…breakfast, sauces, garnish, toppings.

I have tried kefir but it's too sour for me where my yogurt is not sour at all most of the time. I keep a couple of spoonfuls in the freezer as a starter because every six months or so I have to use a fresh starter…yogurt being a living thing, the bacteria in it tend to mutate with time and the yogurt starts tasting a little bitter and yeasty. When that happens I use the frozen bit for a starter and replace it with fresh when that batch is done.

I've been making it for all my married life…over 40 years…and we mostly use it on our cereal. My yogurt maker is older but it looks like this one.

I'm redoing the insides of a mechanical squonker, new 510 connector and negative contact metal strip.

The connector consists of a base connector plus a washer that goes on the top of the mod, to make the top plate part whatever diameter you need.

The connector barrel that goes into the mod has a 12mm diameter, so I needed something to drill a hole in the copper. The actual electrical contact is from a locking nut that will be in contact with the copper.

The contact metal is from a small sheet of 22 awg pure copper (excellent conductivity). It's called "full hard" because the fabrication process results in a fairly stiff sheet - that's so it stays "springy". It took some searching to find, as a lot of what I saw was "dead soft" ( not springy).

I've got a second mod that I want to do the same thing to, but need a smaller washer on top. I'm working with the US supplier to get it, rather than ordering from the UK.

I'll show your post to DH. He's the construction half of us. :)

    Thanks for explaining.

    Good Morning!

I'm a doofus.... My alarm goes off this morning, and I'm looking around (it's dark out) lamenting the fact that I have to get ready for work. Feed the kidz and stumble about for a couple of minutes. Finally realize it's SUNDAY, and I'm getting up to get ready for CHURCH, not WORK! WOOT! MUCH better - I have one more day to be "lazy" before the werk-week gets started :)

Did spend some time straightening up the vape cave yesterday. Mixed up some juice and ordered some replacement flavors. Pulled out an Osub V tank I hadn't mucked with in a while. That's not a bad little vape for pop-in coils....

It has been a busy couple days. First, the water and icemaker in my fridge quit working so I thought maybe the filter needed replacing. Nope! I pulled the fridge out from the wall and discovered that mice had been chewing the tubing for the water. I replaced all of the water lines and it is still leaking, well just a drip but still not good.
Second, we were in the living room and my daughter hollered! She saw a rat run into the laundry room. I went and looked behind the dryer. There is a 3-inch hole that has a gas line going from the laundry room to the garage. It didn't use to be that big. So today I have to further the work on the fridge and also use some sheet metal and repair the rat hole and also set some traps for the pesky critter. Other than that, I am also getting things ready to watch NASCAR!

The new Ethiopian, a couple from Mexico, and some El Salvador.

IMO the Ethiopian is best with a bit of whipped cream, then the chocolate notes are really nice.

Dearest readers, a new dog park has opened up in town!

Dogs are not allowed in the dog park.

Humans are not allowed in the dog park.

Hooded figures may be seen walking in the dog park, but do not look at them. Do not even think about them. Do not look at or think about the dog park.

The dog park will not hurt you :)

I did my Hugo vapor squeezer connector replacement today, very happy with it [emoji5]

The mm510 with 22mm washer and large positive nut fit perfectly. The 22awg hard copper I used for the new negative contact works well; as a dimple tool I used the setting widget from a snaps set I'd previously picked up at home depot. A little dremel work cleaned up the rough edges on the copper strip.

I added a small piece from a composite shim to the fire button, shortened the throw to about 1/8" (the way I like it).

I kept the original positive contact since it seems to be working fine.

I used a dremel to grind down the two plastic "rails" that the negative contact rests on (below the connector), just a little bit.

The little piece of black composite shim between the fire button and positive contact shortens the throw. The sliding off function still works fine.

I did replace the silicone feed tube with a new piece - the mm510 nipple is a bit narrower than the original connector.

The 510 extender below the rda is because I normally use a lanyard. I use a tiny oring on the male part of the extender to ensure no leakage from the threads (it might not be an issue with the mm510, but causes no harm).

Nothing special but it meets my goals [emoji5]

Don't you like how I just pop in from time to time just to say hi and also give you guys updates on certain things going on in my life? Actually the purpose of my messaging you is to inform anybody who's considering on getting a recoil Rebel RDA to be very careful when you get it. I just recently got one from recoilrda.com the flavor on it is not too bad but it does have one serious flaw and one minor flaw. If you're like me and I'm sure most of you are you have a couple of devices that you take very good care of i e you like to keep them in pristine condition. Well The Recoil Rebel RDA has one huge flaw it does not like to keep your devices in pristine condition it actually scratched and scraped the coating off not only my mechanical mod but my Vapor Shark as well. Now I know it doesn't look like it's that deep but you can actually stick your fingernail in that gouge because it is a gouge. And it did the same thing with my rig V3 it took the cerakote clean off of it. I wonder if it's the screw that holds the negative on because the negative is not milled into the deck it is actually a separate part that comes off and on all you have to do is Drop The Philips out of the bottom of it and it comes right off. Now the minor issue with it is it didn't come with a bottom feeding pin which doesn't really bother me as I was going to use it to compare it to the pulse 24 and quite frankly I still like the flavor off the pulse 24 more than I like the flavor off The Recoil Rebel. I will say this about it the O-ring tolerances are very tight which is good so you don't have to worry about pulling your Barrel off after you fill it airflow is rather quiet it's rather unique. And if you don't like the snake by airflow design it does come with a barrel and spare top cap that does allow and offer you adjustable airflow which is also nice. Would I recommend it to anybody absolutely it's a good atomizer you just have to be careful when you put it on things. I will say this if any of you own a 25mm tube mod you will absolutely love it as it sits flush on my rig V3 from top to bottom side to side there is no Gap there is no overhang there is no lip on the top of my neck it sits flush it's smooth it's a good little piece if you like clouds that is. RDA.
