It is not necessarily ruled out due to the threading. A slim top and bottom cap could be made that could hold the pyrex tank. Furthermore someone could do something along the lines of the procise finish lil mama and big daddy tanks from Big Daddy Vapor but with the metal being longer with threading. There are options that could be done to accomplish this especially given both the longevity of the Kayfun systems and with clones / Russian (and Russian 91%) being interchangeable it just furthers the viability of a market for it to be done. Personally I would prefer the latter but a set of replacement slim top and bottom caps with o-rings to secure a pyrex tank would work just fine. I would gladly sacrifice a little bit of capacity or make use of an extension tube to accomplish it and I'm certain that I am not alone in that regard.

They can't make it out of glass because it's threaded, it would have to be redesigned .

Glass jars are threaded, it should be possible, just crazy hard to make fine threads like we'd need and likely expensive, but c'mon, either threaded glass or a redesigned kayfun, would make this tank PERFECT!!!

Was waiting for the glass jar or wine bottle statement. LOL they are large look at the threads on the plastic tank you can cross thread them by looking at it wrong. It's not that easy or practical to try to thread it, the success rate would be low. Without changing the threads on the tank something it looks nobody wants to do or design a sleeved glass tank that's about it. They look at it as "It isn't broke" so why mess with it. You see new top caps with tanks now, reduced tanks, colored tanks all of Plexiglas ....think we going to have to live with it.

And as I said it could be done and how it could be done...Science of Vaping has posted their prototype of it and will be available in the not so distant future. SoV-GlassKayfun.jpg

rounding third and heading home...
well, they make a middle section of stainless steel but that closes off any view for seeing the juice level. why not a stainless section with cutouts of glass so you can figure out the juices level? shouldn't be too difficult to make glass port holes that are permanent and don't require threading. of course, it's easy for me to think it now i just need someone to do it!

peter - That was the other option I have proposed before was doing something like the Lil Mama and Big Daddy Tanks from Big Daddy Vapor but more metal top and bottom with the threading. But the ideal way I have said for some time was threaded top and bottom caps with o rings to house a pyrex tank which is what Science of Vaping is doing.

I still haven't received confirmation from the order form that I filled on their facebook page a few days ago. also no updates have been posted, we'll probably hear more about it soon.

I still haven't gotten mine either. Kind of gave up on it.

I'd like to see a glass chamber as well. I don't like having to guess if I'm drawing too hard or not hard enough. Obviously there are ways to find out after the fact (dry hit or flooding), but it would be nice to prevent it from happening all together. All pyrex and I'd love my kayfun style devices more than my Igo-W. For now, I hate any kind of BS with a tank.
