After you fill the juice from the top, cover the air hole with your finger while you screw on the top. Once the oring makes contact, flip it upside down and take your finger off the air hole, then let all the juice fall down to the top and continue to screw on the top section while it's upside down. If you find juice coming out of the air hole get a tissue, cover the air hole and blow into the drip tip to clear your air hole. Also store it right side up.

And ya. I put it standing upright I fill the juice from the top.

Filling just from the top usually what these leaking issues if do it wrongly. I got a kayfun 3.1 too. Fill using the fill hole, never had any leaking issues even if i leave it on the side overnight.

Top filling method thats alot of practise and could sometimes have alot of juice wastage if done wrongly.. Tried that method last time but was only sucessful 2 out of 10 times.

The top filling method is using fill the juices to 3/4 then screw in the top cap in abit and flip it upside down and covering the intake air hole then start tightening the top part.

When I get leakage from the air hole after top filling it usually means I over juiced my wick before filling it. You just want to make it a bit wet, not saturate it. The pressure from screwing the cap on even with covering the air hole will still shoot juice up to the wick. You want the wick to still soak up some juice to prevent leaking.

It takes practice but I rarely get any leaks from top filling any more.

The 3.1 should only leak out the airhole if the bottom overflow chamber is filled with juice. The bottom can fill up because of over wicking or negative pressure was lost.

90% of the time if i have leakage from the air hole, this is the cause. Take the contact screw out from the bottom, and unscrew the bottom justice trap. Clean it out and then refill using the methods described in this thread. Should fix you right up.

Juices leaking comes from improper filling and also sometime is due to wicking issues. On initial use of KF, I have it too but after reading and experimenting leaking less occurs

Sometime, when I did not concentrate while filling and talking at the same time leaking occurs but can be easily manage by sucking all the juices out

Also, I had experience it if you over fill the tank, I can't get the wicking wet fast when chain vaping, seems that there isn't some pressure inside to allow juices to follow in, so I empty some out and it became as good

Just try and try you will achieve leaks free soon!
