Recently bought a $65 kayfun clone. All stainless, very nice quality, seemless and smooth threading. Using 28g 12 wrap microcoil cotton wick. Works great.

I rebuilt and put the same coil into a PT2 head. Works just as well. So, why did I buy the kayfun clone if I could have bought 4 PT2? Is there something that is supposed to be better that I am missing?

BTW, using on a VTR and Lambo 4.0 lavatube. 12-15w.

This is the KF clone I got from a nearby shop. Looked these up on Alibaba to try and see which one I got but it was about same price there. Made by Tobeco, together best cooperation.

you were able to do 12 wraps of 28g on a protank 2? I do vape a kayfun lite and rarely vape a protank so I cant make any comparisons but I have rebuilt my wifes protank mini which I thought has the same coil. when I rebuilt hers it didn't seem like there was enough room for such a large coil, but to be honest I really never tried. what I can say though is that the vape on the kayfun lite is way better then my wifes protank mini with a 5/64 macro coil with 30g wire.
