I have the oportunity to trade a brand new kayfun lite plus w a nano kit for someones lightly used titanium steam turbine. What do u think? good deal? better vape quality? I have never had a genesis style before so it would deffinatly be a learning experience for me but I have only ever heard good things.

Deal would be a straight trade.

Just looking for input

I don't know anything about the monetary value of each, so I can't speak to that. Gennies are very finicky, and pretty high on the "have to fiddle with it" scale. It seems that when people get a process down, they really like them. I've never gotten that far. About an hour in, I start thinking of how well my kfl (clone) works, and start to wonder why I'm messing around with this &^$# thing, and then I get angry, and then I stomp off to the living room, and the dogs get scared, and the girlfriend starts giving me that look, and...

Whew. I digress. I really like my KFL. ;)

Is the kayfun orginal? If so i wouldn't. However i haven't tried any of them so my opinion may be invalid ^^
I just don't like the looks of turbine as much as kfl especially nanokit.

I'd be checking some youtube reviews if i were you. :):vapor:

Edit: Is it this one?

I'm sorry man, but going to a genesis style atomizer is heading backward in technology...

Look at the momentum in the marketplace....kayfun type technology is the direction.

Nah, I wouldn't let that factor in. In the relatively short time I've been here I've already seen the cyclical nature of things. What is old will be new again in 6 months. lol My two favorite toppers are the Kayfuns, and the ibtanked and a carto. Talk about opposite ends of the perceived movement of technology. In fact, I have both in front of me right now! ;)

I guess you kind of validate my point...You are using a carto and Kayfun...NOT a genesis.

I freely admit I'm relatively new to the vape scene. However, Genesis style atomizers just seem cumbersome with odd wicking system, can't be laid on it's side for fear of leaking, (crap, i can't even imagine putting the device in my pocket or travel bag that matter), "tilt" action to have a consistent vape. It just seems too gimmicky for me, when you have the convenience of Kayfun style RTA's and ease of use drippers.

Thanks all, I decided to keep my kayfun, I did just get that nifty nano kit after all. I just knew the ti steam turbine is like the creme de la creme and thought id ask. I do plan on getting a genny someday but im too i love w drippers.

I actually bought the kayfun for the sole purpose of not dripping and driving lol.

IMO the steam turbine needs a lot of drill work to be a good atty unless your coils stay above .8ohm. The draw is really tight, the wick holes are tiny. And I wouldn't feel right drilling out an authentic.

Now my steam turbine clone is tuned out, quad coils, bored out air and wick. and it is a monster. One of my best tasting atties and throws clouds that put the best drippers to shame. I'm glad you decided to keep your kayfun. I would say the kraken is a better genesis atty in stock form, look for one of those instead.

You haven't built a good genesis then. I run cotton wick and let me tell you a well set up genesis is capable of running with a well set up dripper in terms of flavor, throat hit and vapor production.
