Kayfun Help

I've been a long time lurker, and I'd first like to thank everyone on the forum for providing me a ton of knowledge. I'd still be sucking on blu's if it weren't for all of you. Now to my dilemma...

So I recently took the plunge into rebuildables, and pulled the trigger on a Tobeco kayfun Lite +. All was great for the first few days. I was able to build my first little micro coil/cotton wick setup, and had no leaks. I had been top filling and flipping until a few days ago. I decided to use the bottom fill hole with the expectation of it holding more juice, and that's when I discovered the problem with my device. The provided fill hole screws (I've tried all three) are too small for the actual hole itself. The screw will stay in place, but free spins, and does not catch the threads. I'm actually able to push it out from the back with an allen key. For a temporary fix, I've stuffed cotton into the hole and left the screw in, and it seems to be working. I don't want to have to depend on this, though. I was curious if anyone else has had this issue with the Tobeco clones, and what you did to fix it?

Thanks in advance for any help!!

You could always put some PTFE plumbers tape around the screw threads. I have to do this with my genuine Kayfun Lite to help stop the odd dribble of liquid. Having said that though, I've never had any leakage at the fill screw with any of the Kayfun clones I've got.

Go to a hardware store and get better screws. It'll cost a dollar or two for a bunch of them.

I'd try this ^ and if that doesn't work, may try new tap and dye if you are good with tools and modding.

The other thing you might try is if you can find a rubber stop with a ball on the end, sometimes in hobby shops, I use metals ones to plug fuel lines on 1/5 RC motors. I'm currently looking for some rubber, plastic or silicon ones, I want to drill a top fill hole on a Taifun GT. that would be way easier than drilling and setting new threads.

Something like this
