So I tried to rebuild my new kayfun lite clone. I tried to remove the bottom tray from the part that contains the screw terminals. I unscrewed (tried to) the very bottom screw (the part where it connects to a 510 battery. That screw just resulted in one of the screw terminals falling off and now i cant get it back on or even remove that tray at the bottom to make attaching my coil a little bit easier. So, can someone tell me first of all how to get that bottom tray off and secondly, how to remove the screw that is in the 510 connector?

That bottom part of the tank is real bear to get off of my EHPro too!!!!
Keep at it, it will break loose. I actually had to wrap it with a rag (to prevent scratching) and turn it with a pair of vice grips the first time I removed it.

That screw has no bearing on the bottom part of the tank coming off.

Should I just send this back and get another one or is it too far gone? The bottom is stuck, i have a screw terminal that I have no idea how to get back on. This is extremely frustrating. I heard such good things about these things. Looks like i just got unlucky or people just hyped this POS product up.

well now you know why there is a 80 dollar difference between the clones and the originals huh?

the terminal block should just go back on the screw, hold the block in place and then screw the shaft into it . its just a threaded screw. cant help with the stuck tank.

I have a couple of real Kayfun Lite +'s and they are pretty darn good with a micro coil and cotton. I would think the clones would be pretty close since they are supposed to be 1:1 copies.

To get the block back on you are going to need to unscrew the 510 pin, put the block in place and then tighten the 510 back up. As far as getting the bottom tank tube off you're going to have to take some pliers to it or something, I don't really have a good answer for you there.

On the full sized Russian/Kayfun, the center pin screws into a collar that screw into the center post. When you unscrewed the center pin it unscrewed the collar also disassembling the positive post from the juice deck. So you will have to remove the end cap also to screw the threaded collar back into the positive post then reassemble it. You could also try throwing it in the freezer to contract everything then try to unscrew it.

First off, boil a bit of water, pour into a bowl and let cool for a minute. drop the piece in the water and let it heat up. If you have any rubber cleaning gloves, put em' on. Try removing the tank base after it has warmed up a bit. that should do the trick. The piece that came off is the positive block. Remove the 510 screw, reposition the block - making sure the white insulator piece is still there - then thread the 510 screw back ito the bottom, catching the positive block. EDITED TO ADD: Ooops- didn't realize this thread had a second page. Lots of good suggestions on it!
