kayfun lite plus + ITASTE SVD problem

Hello,

today i bought a kayfun lite plus and itaste svd mod and the problem is this:

i used 0,25 thickness KANTHAL A wire and cotton wool and I got a 2,8 ohm resistence. After i waped, i felt not enough taste and the taste was with some metallic spice. Before buying kayfun I was using a KANGER protank1 and it transferred a lot more taste, so I'm thinking if there's something wrong. Maybe you guys can help me with some thoughts? BTW i'm using "joyetech grape" e-liquid and waping on 8,5 watts and 4,8 volts. Thanks in advance...

Did you "torch" the kanthal? Sometimes there's residue from manufacture that will affect the taste.

Perhaps too much cotton in the wicking? That can choke off the flow...

I suggest dropping the resistance to 2.1 ohms, make sure the coil is firing from the center out before you insert the cotton ( a hot spot will cause that metallic taste) and open up the airflow a little

Sounds like there isn't enough juice getting to the coils....almost like a dry hit. Got that with my ithaka the other day!
