Hi ECF, just bought a Tobeco kayfun Lite Clone. It's working great.

Regarding rebuildables, I only have prior experience with RDA's. Since I'm unfamiliar with this stuff I wanted to ask you guys what do you do with extra e-liquid remaining in your kayfun tank when you need to change the wick and/or coil? Do you guys just pour it out in something and re-drip?

I recently made the mistake of unscrewing the top piece that holds the drip tip and got slow but continuous leakage out of the airflow. Must have been caused by breaking the air tight seal. (I'm guessing)
It never leaks on each first fill and assembly.

'Extra' e-liquid? Just vape it until it's empty. :)

My rule of thumb is I get three full tanks with lighter coloured liquid before I have to change out the cotton; two with darker or sweeter juices.

And yes, plug the airhole with your thumb if you ever have to unscrew the top cap, breaking the vacuum will always make it leak from there.

One solution is to re-wick after you finish all the juice in the tank, before refilling. Alternatively, I use a syringe inserted in the fill hole to drain the tank if I need to tend the coil/wick mid-tank.

Your massive leak after unscrewing the top cap is, as you figured, the result of breaking the vacuum seal that holds the juice in the tank.

I also use a syringe to empty when I need to service any of my Kayfuns. If I am going to continue using the same flavor juice, I just refill the Kayfun with the juice in the syringe.

I just drain the juice back into the bottle. I just pop off the nipple of the bottle and hold the drip tip over the hole. Then I just unscrew the bottom of the kayfun and let the juice drain out of the drip tip. It doesn't seem to hurt the juice left in the bottle and is super easy to do it that way. Most of the time I just change the wicks when the tank is empty but sometimes something just isn't right with the build and draining is required.

Interesting info regarding the leaking of the airflow. I had that problem at first. I then top filled by taking off top cap, filling then put top cap on part way, turn upside down until liquid flows all to the the bottom of top cap and finish screwing on top cap. I have done this twice thus far and both times did not cover the airflow hole. Did I just get lucky that it hasn't leaked? Or does have the Kayfun Lite Plus have something to do with it? I am a newb and this is my fist Kayfun Lite Plus so bare with me, lol. Appreciate the help!
