Thanks everyone for the help. Got my KFL yesterday and went with a micro coil and cotton build at 1.6 ohms. I'm in heaven! Saw the info on the updated version of the KFL and I'm not even a bit upset. Just gives me a reason to buy another one. Hands down the best device I own right now. Gonna try the chimney build later just to try it out, but I just used Rips first build in his tutorial and I couldn't be happier. Now if nexgen would just ship my Futura I pre-ordered last month, I'd be set!

No kidding! The Futura looks so amazing. I hope they can iron out their production process soon so they can ship those things out! I am considering getting one, but I'm waiting on a few reviews first.

So, I just purchased the kayfun lite this weekend. It should be here Wednesday and I was just wondering what's (in your opinion) the best set up? I will probably use cotton, since I love cotton, but should I go with a micro coil, sub ohm, use ribbon kanthal..... I've just never used a tank like this. I planned on setting it up like I do on some of my drippers, but didn't know if that was the best way. Any help is appreciated.

I have found that any build you decide on will work well with the Kayfun style rba. I have the full Russian, have used micro builds, dual vertical, single vertical, hybrid SS mesh with cotton core builds, silica builds, and they all work great. Currently have a micro .64 ohm build on it and vaping at 15 watts. Works fraking great. Will probably go single vertical sub ohm next build. Just go with what works best for you, then play with it. I currently use 28 awg Kanthal on all my builds and am happy with that. Do mostly micro builds and SS mesh hybrid builds. The micro build will out perform the standard silica builds. Finding the right cotton density for wicking is probably the hardest thing to get down. Will be trying hemp wick next, when my order arrives. Heard great things about hemp, so am anxious to give it a try.

Have fun. Then check out the Uvo Aqua rba. lol.

i used protanks most of the time because if im gone all day on a motorcycle or mountain bike i need extra juice and for it to be leak-free. after burning the rubber insulators on all of my protank heads i decided they had to go. by online/ECF recommendation i chose Kayfun.
im loving everything with my lite. my first two builds worked great but were really hot at 4/5 wrap of 32gauge giving 1.8-9ohms. the complete heaven came when i changed to 5/6 wrap 32gauge at 2.0ohms with peaches and cream cotton yarn. this thing chucks the vapor and has better flavor than the z-atty-pro and protanks i have.

Kayfun Lite Plus officially on intaste.de. It will run you approx. $105.00 USD (78 EUR) shipped from Germany. You will just have to get an account and they will automatically discount the price to approx. 63 EUR plus 15 EUR for the shipping.

Update! intaste.de is already sold out!!! You have Cloud9Vaping to get it... approx. $124.00 shipped to US.

from video tighten or loosen draw, not sure how much more open if any that the regular kfl will have to wait till someone has both and can tell. also kfl+ added oring on fill screw on bottom.

The extra parts I got with my kfl were a lifesaver. The stock screw was leaking, just swapped it for another screw and no leaks.

Just ordered a KFL+ this morning from vape rev for $99. Also, built a dual coil in my KFL at 1.3 ohms tonight. Gotta say I think I like the single chiminey coil better.

Thats a good find, Jayviator. Some of us (impulsive buyers!) jumped the gun and purchased from overseas on Friday... paying approx $20 more for it and having to wait three times what it will take for you to get your new puppy. But, what the heck, we'll learn someday... not!
lol... nevertheless, congrats on the awesome acquisition!
