I got 2 KFL clones from fasttech, both the same sku and about 3 months apart. The first one was amazing and I still use it almost everyday while the second was a machining nightmare piece of junk. fasttech offered me a 50% discount but I refused, sent it back and got total credit. In other words the QC can really be hit and miss with their suppliers but at least they will do a refund or credit for junk. I prefer to build my KFL with a 28g micro coil at 1.8 ohms and wick with sterile cotton. I find the bigger diameter I can make the coil the better for the KFL and think mine is about 2.5mm or 3mm, can't say for sure the diameter but it's the biggest diameter I could get inside without causing shorts to the chimney cap.

My fasttech KFL clone is sku 1605200

I'm thinking of investing in a Kayfun Lite from Fasttech. Can't afford a genuine one at the moment and as I'm new to building my own coils, I figured a clone was a good start. The one I'm looking at has had good reviews. My question is, what size kanthal should I use and how many wraps. I will be using it on a Vamo v5 and E-Huge. What ohm's should I aim for and how many wraps will I need. I have some .20 Kanthal lying around but will get a different size wire if needed....Ian
If you'd like it faster than fast "slow" tech, check out angelcigs. They have kayfuns that ship from US.
