Another KFL lover. Never had one leak. Have had a dry hit when I stuffed too much cotton thru the coil. Wick them right and no problems.
Oh yeah, Welcome to ECF! Glad to have you!Another KFL lover. Never had one leak. Have had a dry hit when I stuffed too much cotton thru the coil. Wick them right and no problems.
I used to be a big Kayfun lover. I've got 3 of them including an authentic from Svoemesto.
And then I was turned on to the Squape R. FAR better RTA in every single way. My Kayfuns now all sit in a box collecting dust.
The Squape R has better flavor, far more adjustable airflow (Six adjustments from .9mm to 3.1mm so it can do tight mouth to lung or straight lung hits easily), glass tank, you can remove the deck while the tank is full, and it has optional mini and bell cap tanks as well as an optional wide bore drip tip.
It's by far the easiest RTA I have ever built a coil for, the wicking is almost impossible to get wrong, and it has swappable deck plates for just about any type of coil and wick setup you want. The D deck is a dual coil deck that has separate airflow holes and juice channels for each coil, the B deck is an RDA style deck lets you pack the deck with cotton which lies in a pool of juice just like a dripping atomizer, the C deck is a curved deck is for people who want to use a flavor wick, the W deck is awide deck has extra wide juice channels and a wider air hole for subohm builds and high VG juices, and the S deck is the standard deck for coils like the original Kayfun uses. The decks are non-conductive so it's almost impossible to get a short, they've got grooves that you set your drill bit or jig that you wrapped your coil around into so getting your coil alignment and spacing above the airhole is perfect every single time, and the wicks simply lie in that same groove which feeds directly to the juice channels. When you wick you simply feed your wick through the coil and in the grooves, cut it flush with the edge of the deck, fluff the cotton or rayon a little, wet it down with juice, and that's it. And since the deck is non-conductive you can even use metal mesh like a Genny if you want. Works great with kanthal, nickel, or titanium coils and works great with everything from 2.5ohm coils down to .05ohm subohm coils (Even lower if you're using temperature control nickel or titanium builds).
It's quite simply the easiest RTA to build on, the most flexibility of any RTA allowing it to work well with any vaping style, and flavor that exceeds anything I ever got from my Kayfuns. I my 2+ years of vaping I haven't found another RTA that performs as well and is as easy to work with.
Thats debatableI to really like the Squape R but the V4 is awesome. to say the R is FAR better just isn't true, it's comparable is more like it

I'm a KF fan boy and I will admit it, running 5 v4's here and loving all of them![]()
Why are you so adamant about hijacking kayfun threads to sell squaps ? Lol kayfun isnt even designed for dual coilsOK, let's compare both....
On a dual coil build, does your V4 have separate airflow holes and separate juice channels for each coil?
![]()
How about a mesh build? How well does a stainless steel mesh wick work in your V4? Have you ever even tried mesh? You do know that mesh gives you the best flavor, right?
![]()
How well does the V4 handle 100% VG with a .1 ohm coil at 100+ watts? Can you chain vape with that?
Which has better airflow? The V4 with it's 2.7mm airhole, or the Squape R with it's 3.1mm airhole?
Can you run a dripper-style build where your massive cotton wick is sitting in a pool of juice on the V4?

When you're installing the coil, do you have guide channels to help you align the coil, keep it the right height above the airflow hole, and prevent shorts?

Which is easier to wick?

Shall I go on?
Fanboy is the right term. To the point of denying the obvious. Everything I just listed the Squape R either does better than the V4, or the V4 cannot do it at all. Can you name anything that the V4 does that the Squape R cannot do at all? Can you name anything that the V4 definitively does better than the Squape R?
For the record, I've got 3 Kayfuns and a Squape R. My comparison is based on ownership and personal use. Do you actually own a Squape R?
