I just made a build tonight that i have not seen anywhere before and let me say that after vaping on this current build ( not that one pictured ) i am getting the best flavor and vape i have ever got before on a KFL. I am going to post the details on it tonight.

As for how it is without the chimney? Sooo much better then my regular droppers/RDAs, I am going to use one of my KFLs strictly for dripping from now on.

It holds a endless amount of juice, I can chain vape without no dry hits, no leaking.. I think i might have found a awesome setup!

So i wanted to figure out a way to use my KFL as a dripper. I was going to pick up a Kayfun mini until i came up with this.. I am going to call it the "Kayfun Carto Build" Even though i wanted a dripper, This is almost like a cartomizer in a sense.. It tastes/hits/clouds like a dripper though. Consider it a dripper that never needs filling?

Here are the steps i used to build it. Keep in mind that i have only done this using my Nano clear tank and i have not tried it with the stock Kayfun tanks because they were either to tall or to short, So the Nano tank was perfect height for me to do this.

All we need is the base ( with a vertical coil build ), The nano tank and the Kayfun top cap ( with the O-ring removed )

A photo of the vertical build ( my build is pretty messy, 1.5Ohm 28g ) Also note that you will NOT need to slide any cotton under the hot leg/long coil coming down.

Now i screw on the Nano tank. You do NOT need to install any cotton prior to putting the tank on.

Now we tear off a little, loosened up, lengthy piece of cotton. I think i might have used a little to much cotton here BUT you really can't mess this up because regardless, The juice will still flow thru the cotton. Just try your best not to pack it tight, Try and form it as best as you can using a blunt tip or tool of your choice..

Once the cotton is in and you have it pretty much formed around the coil, It should look like this. Keep the height of the cotton as tall as the top of the coil and make sure the cotton touches all the way down to the base of the KFL

Now fill it up with juice! This setup can hold a LOT of juice! So i stopped counting how many drops it could hold. I used a needle tip bottle and made sure all areas of the cotton were wet. This is also a great time to better form your cotton around the coil.

Now let it sit for a few minutes and the cotton will expand and form itself around the coil/tank/etc..After that, you are ready to vape!.

A few things to note..

1) The first time you build/fill/form the cotton with juice, You will get a little leaking from the air hole and this is normal.. After that though, It has not leaked!! I had this setup sitting all night long on my desk and not one drop or leak anywhere. I have been using it last night and this morning and still, No leaks.

2) I can chain vape and no matter how hard i try, I cannot get a dry/burnt hit.. BUT be careful! This method i have found to be VERY strong! After taking 3 huge lung inhales, I was almost on the floor from the Nic high.. This build really packs a PUNCH!

3) I have yet to run this setup dry so i cannot comment on how the refill process will work but i will assume as long as you use the same liquid, You just unscrew the cap, moisten up the cotton and your good to go!

I am sure improvement can and will be made but as for now, I am very happy with this! This has been the best tasting and best vape production so far.

Got it in today, I can report that it seems high quality. However, it will NOT thread onto the Tobeco KFL clone. It seems like I could get it started but it's "crunchy" and I am not going to force it on and strip my threads. It will, however work on the Russian 91% (made by UCT Brought to you by Kebo), threads on to that perfectly.

Man that sucks! I JUST ordered the nano kit to use for a KFL clone I'm waiting on. I ordered it from FastTech for $14 and change.. is that the Tobeco one?

The Russian and KFL clones are supposed to be interchangeable, are they not?

Got my nano kit today.
It wouldn't thread onto the base on 2 of my tobecco KFL clones.
I tried each side, wouldn't go.
It threaded onto the tank section and top cap fine, but not the base.
It does fit fine on my tobeco KFL+ clone and real russian 91% and KF3.1 clones no problems.
I think my tobeco KFL bases have a rough thread. I'm sure I can fix it up.
Anyways, I ordered another set. These are great.
Here it is, KFL+ on my vela in 18490 mode.

Yup, I'm really digging the look of that. Can't wait for mine to arrive! My fingers are crossed that my KFL ships before the CNY. I read a review by someone who was comparing the one I purchased to the Tobeco one, so they are different.

I'm hoping everything fits ok. If not, I think I'll order the Russian 91 clone from the same site I ordered the Nano kit from, since it looks like a quality one and he's already confirmed everything fits ok on that one.

What I really want though is to get one of those pyrex tank kits, but the list is already full. Hopefully he'll release more in the near future.

If for any reason the kit doesn't fit your kfl, pick up a KFL+ from 101vape.
They are in and out of stock frequently, but get on the notification list and snag one.
They are great quality. Super happy with mine.

A pyrex tank would be nice. I may have to get on that list for the next run.

What's the difference between the KFL and KFL+?

Yeah, the pyrex tank would be great to have, though it essentially renders the nano kit useless, lol. :)
Ah well, can always stick it in the classifieds.. quick sale I'm sure.

The plus has an improved fill hole. It is deeply countersunk and uses a screw with an oring. Better design.
It also has airflow controls on the underside across from the fill hole.
