Today I received my genuine kayfun lite plus v2 and found that it did not fit flush my ProVari. There is a slight lean and gap. I tried to tighten the screw on the 510 connector, and I'm afraid I might have made a little spur. Is it possible just to replace the base? If not, any suggestions? Also, is it normal to have such a space between the mod and the tank? Also I might add that the positive connector was shifted to a right angle with the negative, but the vendor said this was normal for replacing the insulation and can be moved. Thanks for any help!

You could try a pro-ring to give you a more solid "stop"/base and flush up the look, it may solve your problem.

There are several versions of the Provari ring............for just this reason. Nothing wrong with the Kayfun or the Provari.
