Well i noticed the kayfuns like to leak a little when in the car and the heat sets in. Have you encountered this ? Not a lot just a little guess its from the metal expanding and contracting ..just curious and hope my fill hole doesn't need a new seal. Do they go bad by the way? If so how do you replace that seal?btw i have the kayfun original 3.1 and lite edition not the new one

Summer is kicking up here, 100F+ and even w/ 70VG/30PG I get pretty constant leakage from the air hole as soon as I step outside (hCigar Kayfun Lite + V2). I'll vape and vape to burn out the excess juice but it just keeps dripping out. Have not found a fix yet. Still love it, just not when all my liquid is pouring out the side.

My 3.1 HCigar Never Leaks. My Wifes EHPro light+ does however. I really prefer the HCigar 3.1. Just easier to live with.
The only thing I don't like about it is the side fill port with the ball detent. A PITA!!!
I've been thinking about possibly chucking it up in my milling machine and plunging and tapping a fill hole in the base like the EHPro has. It would only take a few minutes. Just got to get up the nerve to start machining it!

I think it comes down on how it was setup..i had this problem with 28ga microcoils..the coils were abit too close to the airhole..i rebuild it but this time it was not too close yet not too far..somewhat just above the screw posts..and that fixed it..my theory is that the cotton soaks up the liquid and it drips into the airhole..

Not sure if this problem occurs in silica builds

Yes, that too will cause problems. But not what is being talked about here. The Kayfuns work on the vacuum principle. When left in a hot environment such as in an auto in the hot sun, the heat will cause pressure to build in the tank. Thus defeating the principle on which the device operates. So simply put, "Don't Do It!" And if you do, and it leaks, it your doing. Not the Kayfun.

Common sense has to be applied from time to time. As "Rare" as it may be these days. LOL!!!:p
