I have a kayfun clone that I bought from fasttech (not the rocket) and the threads are stuck. It's not stuck to a device, but the middle tank section and the bottom metal section are stuck to the base and I can't get in there to change the coil. They just won't unscrew and I can't figure out what to do.

Try sticking it in the freezer for about 10 minutes. I read another member saying she does that to get parts unstuck. Haven't tried it myself.
I have the Kayfun Lite plus and the first time I went to re-wick it, the same pieces appeared to be stuck together. I took a pair of vice grips (protected with a rag to prevent scratching) to get mine apart. I knew reassembling these pieces not to over-tighten them.
I stick a small screwdriver in the hole for the air flow screw for leverage while gripping the
tank section with a rubber grippy thing to unscrew the tank.

I had the kayfun lite black edition and the tank pieces were really tough to get apart. I was worried more about the clear middle piece because i was squeezing it so hard. I threw it in some hot water then ran it under cold water and used some rubber bands for grip and it came apart. Seemed to be the rubber gaskets sticking.
funny that we all have the same issues , I have the 3.1 and the bottom is also fused in guess it has to do with the heat of the coils and the juice settling in. i cannot get the bottom off where the juice is to collect if leaked out..guess i will try the freeze to contract and heat to expand a couple of times to break that seal.

I use homemade vape grips. Basically the rubber drawer liner stuff, cut to shape. A person could buy the real thing I suppose, if they wanted to.

Happened to me too. It's because the thread pitch is so small. Like everyone says, you just have to get friction on the parts without damaging them or try temperature change.
I'm really careful now not to over tighten the parts. They can be left pretty loose, the O-rings will still seal with no torque applied.
