kayfun tank section help!

Using kayfun lite and the tank seems to be stuck. Not sure why but i cant unscrew the plastic tank section! Anyone has this problem? Dont want to resort to breaking the tank just to get it out.

Solved:

I realized the threading jumped, which cause if to be impossible to loosen, i wrapped the tank section in a shirt , placed in on the floor and just smacked it with a book. I heard a crack sound and it popped back to place. After that it loosened up easy!

so anyone have this problem can try this, worked for me at least;)

I use a strap wrench... I actually just use the rubber strap from a strap wrench. Buy a small strap wrench from the hardware store... take the rubber strap out and cut it in half... Throw the handle part away. Use the two straps to hold the tank sections and your good to go... make sure you buy the small wrench where the straps are only about 1/2 wide. When putting the tanks sections together, use a little food safe grease... Think sterile petroleum jelly... I use a small artist brush to apply it just to the threads... you only need a tiny bit and don't get any part that will mix with juice.

common issue with kayfun. You have unconsciously over tighten the section

1) by using the lazy way to refill (opening the Top cap n screw it back) this sometime will cause the plastic section to tighten more)
2) By constantly checking if the tank is tight on the MOD.
3) By cleaning the clear section with a turning action.
4) by having a O-ring between tank n plastic. It is good for leak but will also cause over tightening if not careful

My way of unscrewing - use a clean cloth as grap for both end and try unscrew. If cannot then use a wrench at the tank n unscrew by hand at the plastic end. if still cannot, heat up the tank area n unscrew again.
