I've never ordered from fasttech (Slowtech?), and I'm thinking about pulling the trigger. I've heard LOTS of positive comments on a kayfun something-or-other. Can I get some help on the differences between kayfun 3.1 ES styled, the Kayfun Lite styled, the SvoeMesto Kayfun 3.1 ES styled, the Kayfun Lite Plus V2 style, etc? What spare parts should I consider getting? There's also the replacement tank sections (I like color, so I'm eyeing these too.) Should I consider the tank sections or the replacement tank?

I have the MVP2 and the VV3 for my primary mods, and I'm no longer afraid of rebuilding my coils.

Thanks :)

The authentic SvoeMesto Kayfun was designed by a Russian engineer and manufactured by a couple of Germans, from what I understand. After a falling out between the threesome, the engineer began making his own Russian 91% Kayfun-style RBA with only enough minor changes to avoid any patent infringements.

There are a few clones of each of the above. I can't help you to decide which one to get, or advise you on getting an authentic over a clone.

All I can say is I have an authentic Kayfun Lite + and it is the best tank I've ever owned.

Don't quote me on this, but I've heard that the EHPro Kayfun (bought from Ebay) is one of the best clones. I think I have an HCigar Kayfun 3.1 clone (it was given to me and it has no markings on it, or the box), and it has a faulty ball-valve filling port. I love it, now that I've plugged the hole and it doesn't leak, lol. :D

A lot of people like the KF Lite +, but I don't know where they are getting them. I like that I have an airflow adjustment on mine, and the Lite's don't have that.

When FT says something is "x styled" (or a variant), they're saying it's not "authentic." So a Kayfun Style would be what's commonly called a clone. Quality varies. Some are very good, others not so. The Svoemesto generally gets good reviews - and make sure you get one with air flow control, they don't all have it. (Maybe all the 3.1 models, but check.)

Spare o-rings, terminal screws and tank / sections are good to have for everything :)

I couldn't justify the cost of an authentic kfun. So I bought a kfun lite from fast tech to see what they were about .
I can't compare it to real, yet build quality is nice.
There are no instructions. I used it as a 'dripper' with pre installed coil/wick. Mediocre experience at best.

A month later with instructions from the net, I was able to figure out how to set it up. With a 1.4 ohm coil on a Private v2 mech. Well, beautiful. I'll be putting the Provari on hold. I want a real one..

I own the authentic Svoemesto Kayfun Lite Plus and love it, but can't comment on the clones, since I don't own one.

Now the 3.1 vs the Lite vs the Lite Plus.

3.1 is larger in size, fills up to 4.5ml of juice. It is also significantly more expensive (around $180). They are no longer in production by Svoemesto, but you can get a clone fairly easily. The airflow control and fill hole is also located on the side of the device, allowing you to adjust airflow and/or fill your juice without taking the tank off your device. However, that side fill hole requires you to use a syringe or needle point bottle to fill. The regular bottles with the plastic tips won't work.

The Lite and Lite Plus are skinner than the 3.1, roughly 91% of the size of a 3.1 (hence the Russian and the Russian 91%). It also fills up to 4.5ml of juice. The difference is the airflow control and fill hole are located on the bottom of the atty. this requires you to unscrew it from your device to adjust and/or fill. They usually cost around $100 for the authentic. The fill hole does allow you to use the regular plastic bottle's nipple tip to fill, rather than a syringe.

The Lite Plus gives you a couple upgrades from the Lite, the most significant being a deeper milled out section to the fill hole and an o-ring around the fill hole screw to prevent leakage.

From what I've read, the 3.1 does give you an airier draw to the Lite and Lite +, when both are fully opened up.

I've thrown around the idea of getting an ehPro Kayfun Lite Plus clone, just to try it. But honestly, if I wanted another Kayfun style atty, I'd get the Russian 91% at this point.

I can't justify the cost of five to ten of them, so I do buy clones. I don't have an all day vape. I switch my toppers throughout the day, with a different hive in each and I don't care to find an all day vape, I'm getting a kick out of having as many deserts as I want without a pound. Mm... Cherry cheesecake for lunch followed by some apple pie aka mode. But I digress..

For a first Kayfun clone, I recommend the Kayfun Lite Plus. Plus means airflow control. V2 means a redesigned drip tip, airflow control, a more recessed fill port on the bottom. I'm not sure if Fasttech clones really follow the specific changes for each clone, so make sure they do mention airflow control, not just Plus. I recommend the Lite because filling via the bottom port is easy. You need special plastic, blunt tip syringes for the 3.1's ball valve side fill port. Or you can top fill both versions, but filling through the lite is easy.

If you go the eBay route, go for Hcigar, or Ehpro. I've had great experiences with both in Lite and 3.1 versions. Not so much with Tobecco. Their boxes usually say together the best corporation or something like that. I normally wouldn't give the name of a vendor or manufacturer after a single bad experience, as everyone lets a dud through occassionally, however I have two duds from them.

I also have a couple of Kayfun Minis. These are made by IVOGO and are sold by angelcigs. They have airflow control....and the taste is even more pronounced than a regular Kayfun. They are remarkably well made. They cost about 27 dollars and had free shipping.

Sounds interesting...how are the deck screws? My 3.1's are already pretty small...

With any clone, be it Mod or Topper, there is the off change of catching a lemon. They are mass produced and the China Makers waste nothing. If it is built, it ships.
People like to say their QC is bad. No their economic practice is bad. They assume Rejects are a costly waste, instead of increased cost for only inspected and proper products.

That said, Fasttech has 2 Kayfuns I can say are excellent when no mistakes were made in machining.
They also happen to be the least expensive.
$12.87 Kayfun Lite Styled Rebuildable Atomizer (4.5mL) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$14.39 Kayfun Lite Styled Rebuildable Atomizer (4.5mL) - clear tank section at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

A third that looks to have excellent promise is the KF lite Plus V2
$31.02 Kayfun Lite Plus V2 Style Rebuildable Atomizer (4.5ml) - stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I have not ordered from fast-tech before; however, I shy away from ordering outside the US, only because I don't have the patience to wait.
I own one authentic kayfun lite plus, one kayfun black edition from Artemis and a kayfun lite plus v2 from ehpro. The latter 2 are clones. I would never advise anyone on getting a clone over authentic or vice Versa. But, in my experience /"" three vape very similar, all three have great build quality and interchangeable parts, and out of the three the ehpro v2 is my favorite one. I have heard some grumbles and moans about certain other clones; but, not having first hand experience with them I can't say anything negative or positive about any products outside of the ones I've used.
There are plenty of threads on here where you can get ample information from owners and users though, best of luck!

I'll second the angelcigs lite mini. Yes the deck and screws are smaller. No I didn't find it an issue in building. If anything provides a better vape than the full size. I'll also second both the black edition from Artemis and the EHPro lite V2. All three of these are not from FastTech.

For FastTech choices, the 3 already mentioned are good. I'd give the nod to the V2 if it's your first one, not only do you get a nano kit but you have nice juice channels and a big airflow hole.
