Is anyone using Silica with their kayfun besides me? I playing with all different sizes and lengths of Silica on my Kayfuns and I'm curious what you are doing with yours. I tried cotton and just don't care too much for it. Silica is working great for me.

Yup, well not me, but that's avast they were designed for originally I believe. I wrap my dad's with ecowool, same difference, less work for me.

I'm using silica yarn and also braided. Did a few builds with mesh and also mesh sleeved silica as I was getting fed with the hassle of dry burning silica. The best vapor has been silica yarn, followed by mesh sleeved braided silica. Ditto for even wicking. The best vapor has been from cotton. As you said I don't care much for the flavor, except when I'm using my K.funs in RDA mode which nowadays I feel is by far the best way to use one.
PS, I place a short mesh sleeve between the cotton wick and the coil to minimize bunt hits, even tho in this case, as I don't have to disassemble the tank, the wick replacement is a breeze.
