Hello, I'm waiting for my kbow 40w and sony vtc5 to arrive, I'm going to put atlantis v1 with 1ohm coil in it. I was planning to use it on 30-40w, but one of my buddies told me that using any mod on full power is going to destroy its' chip in a matter of days and now I'm having doubts about my purchase. So my question is will it break and I should get 0.5ohm coils or is it safe to use it on full power?

IMO you'll be fine sir. Been using mine for months now with no problems around 1 ohm. Good choice on the battery. Enjoy the day!
I'll add to get a second battery and a good charger. I follow the practice of charging the battery and letting it rest for an hour or so before using it. If you vape at 30-40 watts you will only get about half a day from a charge.
I have .8 and 1.2 bulids and don't go over 25 watts. You will need lots of juice flow and air flow to vape over 30.

Atlantis 1ohm coils are rated 40-50w so I don't think that resistance will be a problem. Good to know that it's safe to use it.
One more question. I put atlantis with one ohm on kbox and it doesn't fire and blinks 4 times. Why?
From a respectable vendor where I buy all my vape stuff. If I leave the tank a little loose then it fires, but just as I tighten it blinks 3 times and doesn't fire. I guess it's the pin, but have no idea how to fix it.
Understood, The floating pin in the device does not have much play so I'm thinking that when you crank the RTA down too much it's causing a short. Sorry i can't help more but I do not have an Atlantis. Enjoy the day!
