A friend of mine is offering me his Kbox 70W sub ohm battery. I currently have a Nautilus Aspire tank which is not sub ohm. Will this work on low wattage until I get a sub ohm tank?

I s'pose it'll work at lower power, but Kanger mods are a bit janky, man. I'd buy something else; like an iStick Pico, or a Cuboid Mini if you prefer a built-in battery. They each have chips far superior to what Kanger uses.

Yep it will. Will run standard kanthal and nichrome coils on top of Ni200 and Titanium in temp mode. Have one myself I run my Kayfuns and Russian 91%'s on all day long at 8 to 12 watts. Get a good 2 to 2 1/2 days on a charge with them if I chain vape, about 4 days normal usage for me. Simple 5 clicks for on/off, 3 clicks to switch the vaping modes of VW/TC Ni/TC Ti, great little beginner mod tbh.

My Aspire is running a 1.8 ohm so I will be ok to use at 8 watts? Would I use the VW mode? I just want to make sure I'm not gonna blow anything up. I've been using an MPV 2 for quite a while but the battery is on it's way out and I need a replacement. My friend is not looking for any money and the fact that it is free makes it enticing.

Yes, VW mode, it will run for days on a charge with that Nautilus even with the 1.6ohm coil for the Nautilus and do it safely. You'll have double the run time of your old MVP2 had as Kbox70w has a 4000 or 4400mah battery. Only annoyance you'll notice is putting the tank back on after refilling it, the mod a lot of times will show a screen asking "New Atomizer? Yes+/No-", clicking yes will re-read the coil resistance and lock it in, no will do nothing and keep the last read coil resistance locked in.

Yes, it will run a 1.8ohm coil just fine. Kanthal and Nichrome coils it can support resistance ranges of 0.3ohms to 3.0ohms. That Nautilus is plenty safe on it, and will work just fine in the 7 watts (lowest the Kbox70 goes) to about 15 to 18 watts (the Nautilus begins to really shine in the 12 to 15 watt range, something the MVP2.0 couldn't reach in VW mode as it capped out at 11watts in VW mode). There are some limitations the Kbox70 has, like above 1.3ohms is the highest to reach 70watts, but beyond that I have had no issues other than the above posted asking about new resistance reading it does when the screen is active and you unscrew and screw back on a tank. It is just like the MVP2 with just a couple extra features, lower resistance support, and TC control, but a lot more power capability.

For Mouth to Lung (M2L) the standard Nautilus coils are just fine. So far in a M2L application, TC coils haven't been all together appeasing to me, coils like those Triton Mini Nickel coils. In TC mode, the KBox70 auto sets the wattage to 70watts, so you have to fiddle with the Temp settings after that. Right now, I'd suggest staying with the standard Nautilus coils until you get a better tank with better airflow for TC mode.
