Hi all I just ordered a authentic kbox mini starter kit from ft am I going to b disappointed or happy with it. Could the peeps that have one please comment on there experience with it
Cheers
I like mine, not disappointed at all. It works. 50 watts is enough for me and it fits in my pocket okay. I like the buttons. The screen is magnified so it's easy to see.
The tank, hit or miss for me, one coil was defective and the airflow is so tight i have to run it at very low wattage
i bought mine on pre-order so i`ve had it since they were released. not a single thing to complain about. i don`t use the replacement coils i only use the RBA. i have run it from .3 to .7 ohms with high VG juice and normally run 15-20 watts. yes if i go too high in wattage with VG heavy juice i get burnt hits. the mod itself is flawless. the tank is really good but i`m sure there is better out there. i have a Cthulhu on the way and hopefully that will perform better than the subtank mini.
same... never use the ooc before... all i use is the RBA... i just made a 24g 6 wrap coil 0.5ohm, dragon coil (or to put it simple just a vertical coil)... was awesome... havent tried the max wattage until it get dry hits but i been up to 35w with no dry hits yet... dont have the courage to try higher haha!
It just depends on the tank. The Arctic has huge, wide slots for wicking, as well as enough airflow that you could breathe through it. I run mine at 40 watts and it's cooler than my subtank mini at 20 watts. Way cooler.
Edit: actually, the dripper I'm using right now comes out at about 70 watts, but again, because of the airflow and good wicks, and coils tht heat up and cool down quickly, it's just barely warm.
i just got my velocity (and already showing off to friends who are still waiting to get it), 24g 6 wraps 3mm id and end up with a 0.3ohm... and trust me 50watts for this build is merely warm...
well my point is, it depends on your coil... i rebuild my subtank mini to 24g 6 wraps 3mm id and 0.6ohm, it can easily hit up to 35watts... but you will consume more juice... it gives more flavour actually...
