I stumbled onto some monkey bread from Kick Bass Vapor, and seeing the buzz going on from a lotta fanboys, I had to review. Mind you, I hate fanboys. But I also call em like I see em, be it friend or foe.
The mix was 40/60, so I wasnt expecting much being a PG fan myself.
I loaded up a LR atty..and it just wasnt a go. Couldve been some previous juice mix, could be atty, but just wasnt flyin. But I needed an honest review, so I did what any good faithed vapor would, and pulled out a fresh boge LR carto...They calm down the liquid and lets flavors pop, and worked like a charm.
I've never had monkey bread, so I cant compare to it. But what I HAVE had is those cinna melts from Mcy D's, and I love them things. They are usually stingy on the icing, and it plays out well. Not too sweet and all. Well, thats what I was tasting.
Anyhow- I was tasting some bready, cinnomony sugar, buttery, touch of vanilla goodness. The flavor was light, and my buds are shot anyhow. Double flavor is what I like personally. But I also can't complain, because as it sits, It could be an all day vape. It was just enough to tease the pallet, and keep ya chasing that next vape. For the average vaper, I think it would satisfy, but not be enough to put it down. Im no cinnamon fan either. Cinnabon, yeah. Red hots - no thanks. But this isnt cinnabon either. That stuff is rich, can only take so much. This stuff was mild. Flavor wasnt hiding by any means, but wasnt trying to make a scene either..really respectable like.
So a quick rundown would be- a lightly sweet bread, lightly coated in butter, then sprinkled in cinnamon and sugar. 1-10 rating...
Flavor- 8 (double shot and you'll have a 10, cause my buds are shot)
Throat hit- 4 - cinnamon tingle, but this isnt a heavy hit vape..mellow and smooth. Its a good thing.
Vapor- 10 - I was driving down the road, and had to crack the window, vision got cloudy real fast.
Do with it as you will, this is TBC's review. I'm no fanboy, but was impressed. Gotta give credit where credit is due. Well under 10 bucks- all day long, twice on sunday.
