So this is a bit of a rant *you have been forewarned* lol

For some reason I see keep seeing this phrase everywhere. I mean everywhere. I saw it on a poster in the background of a youtube vid, sometimes in the forum I see people say "just calm down and smoke your vape", and just today some guy at a local coffee shop was wearing it on his t-shirt (which is a bit weird because I live in a really small town). Here's one problem......

THIS PHRASE MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO sense!!!!!!!!

What does that even mean? "smoke a vape". No sir (or ma'am). No one refers to vaping as "smoking a vape". Maybe someone can help me here. Is it a dialect thing? I hear a lot of brit's saying it, so maybe it's a british/english thing. Keep calm and Vape on.....ok, I get it. It has a ring and makes sense.

I mean, I obviously understand what the phrase is saying, but it still drives me crazy - kind of like when people say "You's guys" or "oh, I done that yesterday". Keep calm and smoke a vape? No way. There's smoking, and then there's vaping. When you "smoke" you're inhaling ....well....smoke. No one "smokes" a vape. And what is "a vape" anyways? A vape - as if there's just one. I'll have one vape please. *EDIT* not to be confused with "One sec, I need a vape". A vape in this case referring to the activity.

Ahhhemm. Ok, I feel better getting this out lol. And ya, I can already see the responses telling me to calm down and smoke my vape :)

Does anyone else see something "off" about this saying? Or am I just crazy? or both?
