In my previous post, I don't think I meant to come across as, "OCD."

I'm sure you're not. And, even if I was qualified to diagnose you as such, I doubt I would be so bold to attemt a diagnosis over an internet forum. ;)
However, I can't seem to wrap my head around the former quote and this one :D ;)...

I'm the same way with drink bottles, if I don't drink my bottled beverages with in an hour, chances are, I won't continue to drink it.

But to each his own, right? You would probably think that I'm a bit odd or eccentric by the fact that I can't stand to wear new clothes without washing them first... Something about that "new clothes smell" that just bugs me.

Even so, I don't think the following is a good comparison...
Only way I can explain it is, imagine your house being infested by flea's from your dog. Most people will exercise extreme caution to prevent that from ever happening again.

A house infested with fleas will be nearly impossible to live in. The nagging annoyance of it would drive you crazy. A house infested with bacteria means nothing to anyone with a functioning immune system because bacteria is imperceptible. As much as some people may not want to admit it, every house is infested with bacteria.

PS. I like dirty :)

I like dirty too. :) Everything in moderation, is my philosophy.

I agree with washing the plastic carts out every so often. And good handwashing is essential! But look at babies, who put everything in their mouths. I am a firm believer that we build up our immune systems this way.

Just use common sense and you won't have to worry about your lips rotting off.

:D
