Hello. I am using a Ballistixx e-cig. I've had it for about a month, but it's now doing something really weird. I turn it on, hold down the button (which turns white like it's supposed to), but now it only stays white for about a second, then a red light appears at the bottom left for a split second, then turns off.

This is really infuriating and I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this

I'm guessing it's an ego type.
It might be shorting; the insulator for the centerpin might be damaged;

If you have a multimeter you should try to check the voltage output in case it has not been charging properly.

If that's the case, how would I get it fixed?

basically not worth fixing;
the battery inside is a lithium type battery like the ones used in cellphones; it's very powerfull and you don't want to be poking around inside there because things can get very hot very fast.

if the centerpin is pressed in too far, you can try raising it with a toothpick;; if the centerpin is pressed in too far, what happens is when you connect it to the charger, it does not get charged

All of these item can be found at other places. This is just a way to see for yourself what we are talking about.

I know all of the terminology can be very confusing to begin with.

So your gonna quit cause a bad brand screwed you our of hard earned money?

Try buying a decent one first such as an ego starter kit with a CE5.
