Been using the passthrough and the kensington for 3 days. This set-up is awesome. I use it full time when I'm drivingv(3 to 4 hours per day) and just put it on the charger tonight. Excellent steady vapor quality. Now I really know when its time to drip!

I got the NOMA Pocket Power charger (Crap Tire) and it works great, but it feels like the vapour comes into my mouth cold. I get good vapour, good flavour, good throat hit, but it doesn't feel warm. Very weird. Anyone notice this with the Kensington? I might save my pennies and grab one of those as well.
Im using mine as a power source for a mod (primitive) I'm working on while my bats come from china. The 5.2v it puts out is perfect for vaping.
waywardsister, a USB power source should make warmer vapoor than anything out there unless you are using a 6v mod. I haven't noticed this with the Kensignton.

I'm gonna have to pick up one of these powerpacks and try it out. Everyone seems to be loving them. 3-4 hours of battery life is just ridiculous 8-o
Yeah, using my passthrough on it's own is great, but the NOMA power pack thing aint cutting it. I have a Prodigy on the way so the whole issue might be moot
I love using my 801 and 901 passthroughs w/ the computer but want to grab one of these badboys just for the portability factor. And I know from experience that Kensington makes some sexy gadgets. Will definately pick up one of these during the weekend.

I had been using the APC powerpack then the Duracell powerpack powering USB manual switch passthroughs which were a real step up from batteries..! The Kensington must be as great!
PS But once we made the battery mod (AA box with 14500 batt and manual switch ) there is no going back!..full day of vaping with manual switch no wires.. total heaven..!
I haven't use a regular battery nor a power pack in 2 months!..
going to try Youfillintheblank's mod 6V next..!

I should have my first 801 DIY passthrough (juicy box with a USB instead of bats) complete today while I wait for my bats and charger from China. Can't believe how much fun it is to make your own. I feel like a kid with a new model kit.
I can't stop thinking about all the possibilities with modding. I understand why some ppl get so obsessed with it.
Hours and hours of use is an understatement!!
I spent over 7 hours walking around Chicago last Sunday...non-stop vaping on my Kensington. Did not need to charge it until the following evening. This thing is freakin AWESOME!!! No need to carry 3 or 4 batts.

I asked on a different thread about these devices but then got completely confused when I read the thread they gave me.
I have a 901 usb that I hook up to my computer but from what I think I am reading on the threads is that some of these usb pass throughs have a battery inside and some don't??? Is that true? Mine is really light so I don't think there is one in mine.
And the big question, the most important one I wanted to ask you is, what e cig and usb pass through are you using with the kensington? I just want to get one cause these three batteries I have aren't charging and lasting me long enough. I am like a pup nursing on my usb to computer. I wish to wean myself. Help!

As far as I know the 510 model is the only USB passthru that has the inline battery(its an actual little battery box in the middle of the cord).... Your 901 shouldn't....
Some people are not happy with their Passthrus when they connect them to their comps ( not enough power)...So they will get a battery pack = the kensington... You can pick one up at bestbuys store or online....They usually have them on sale every other week for 39.99 ( normally like 59.99)...There is also another power back that Sunvapor had suggest that's less expensive, works just as good but, I cant remember the name of it right off ( anyone else know?)
You'd do an initial charge on your kengsinton... Then you plug your passthru into it, screw on your atomizer.. the kensington is very portable..You could pick it up and carry it around...It also has 5 little blue lights on it- that signify's how much power you have left on it... you press a button to see how much power you have left/how many lights light up...I recharge mine if only 3 out of the 5 light up..

Thanks so much Ivy and Misty! I couldn't get passed all the high tech talk on the discussion thread when I had asked once before. It was all about Mah or ma or pa but it all ran too long and confused the daylights outta me. I just want to get what ever it takes to have power when I go somewhere........Deb
