Hey all,

I just got an order in from Ruyan Direct. I got the usual stock up of attys and carts but of more interest i got 3 new juices. Kent, French pipe, and flue Cured. All in 18mg

Kent is easily my favrouite.

First off, IT TASTES LIKE tobacco!

Thats not to say it tastes like an analog (yuck) But it tastes like a fresh pouch of tobacco smells. (those who used to or still roll their own will know that delicious smell that they get when opening up a fresh pouch).

Its not at all nutty like some of the other tobacco flavours out there. Its almost woody in its taste. Ive been vaping some sweeter flavours for a while now and this is a very welcome change. Not at all sweet but not bitter. Its just a great flavour.

Anyone who is coming off analogs i recommend it. Its the cloesent thing to a ciggarette allthough its still a long way off. BUT IT IS SPOT ON FOR THE TASTE OF TOBACCO. Which i allways liked more than the taste of the cigarette anyway.

Good vapor production and throat hit 4.7 out of 5 for overall score.

Do yourself a favour and get some of this!

I too like Kent from Ruyandirect. I ordered it simply because Kent cigarettes were my first cigarettes, when I was a teenager. Kent got me through long hours of college, along with a VW Beetle to go home on weekends. I now have a VW Jetta diesel and inhale Kent flavored liquid from e-cigs.

Progress. Ain't it grand?

Bob, my first car (junior in college) was an old beat up VW Bug and I smoked Kent also. Small world.:)

Thanks for the lead about Rocky Mountain Vapor, wv2win!

Good prices as well I notice. 30 ml for $15 - that's my benchmark, 50 cents per ml. I've only seen one or two other vendors selling e-liquid at that price. Many charge *twice* that.

I see they also have Winston. That was my brand during most of my smoking years (until I got cheap and went with Basic).

*But* I also started with Kent in college (sophmore year). No VW for me (U of Del didn't allow cars on campus). I remember the director of a play I was in "recommend" it to me. I'd never smoked before and the role called for it. He rather contemptuously suggested a mild cig like Kent.

That was a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. I imagine that I (and a couple others in this thread) have put anyone under the age of 50 or 60 to sleep with all this nostalgia. ;)

Back in college before there were warnings on cigarettes, you could smoke anywhere and no one thought a thing about it. And because I was young I could still play sports and smoke and not get winded.

And now I vape Kent flavored liquid and communicatate with this laptop that didn't exist back when we were in college.

wv2win, I really think that I was born 30-40 years too early. Although I am not a technical person, I *love* today's technology, e.g., PVs, PCs, HDTVs, my Blackberry Bold (thus my screen name) ... and the INTERNET.

My toys as a boy and young man were so boring!

Of course, my timing was just right for ....... :)

I like the new stuff, also, and see the benefit in efficiency. But as a young man in his late teens, early 20's and in college, I am glad I didn't have to worry about HIV and that we walked most places so driving drunk was very rare (at least for me and my friends) and overall we felt safe and insulated. There were many advantages to a simpler life.

Oh to have the innocence of the 50s (without the racism and repression), the excitement and music of the 60s & 70s (without the assassinations, Vietnam War and Watergate), and the technology of today (without ... where to start our current tales of woe?)

[Yeah, I know, I skipped a couple decades. For me they were mainly a blur with my nose to the grindstone.]
