Kentucky Blend Clone?

Found this DIY recipe for Vermillion River's Kentucky Premium Blend:

Does this sound right to anybody?
I'm thinking about ordering the Hazelnut and the DK Tobacco so that I can try it out (already have the other flavors).
Is it even worth it you think?
Somehow I kind of doubt that this will turn out anything at all like the KPB.
Is there a better recipe out there? One that maybe includes Tobacco Absolute and other less obvious flavors?
To me KPB has a really rich, pastry taste to it, something I've not achieved by merely introducing marshmallow, nuts, and caramel or whatever.
I really want to nail this one down so I can switch to DIY for good. (KPB is my all-day, all the way juice but it gets pricey vaping it all the time).
Nothing I've tried, either from a vendor or from my DIY projects, tastes anywhere near as good as KPB.

Agree KPB is so nice, I ordered a few bottles a while back and just ran out. Shipping takes 2-3 weeks to get to my place at best, so I tried the DIY recipe in the ejuicemeup software. Its the same as the one you posted.

From the bottle the DIY and KPB smell similar. Let it sit a week and loaded up my tank...But when vaped the DIY is lacking alot of the KPB underlying flavour imo.
I tried adding my own tobacco absolute and sweetner, instead of the TPA DK Tobacco, it was better, but still not KPB.
I also did some up with a little butterscotch added to the mix, tasted a little richer, but still not what it is missing...its missing that "body" KPB has, and the lingering aftertaste. I notice KPB is alot darker too than the DIY recipe, so I wonder if there is a little cocoa or chocolate missing maybe??

Ive had a few ideas of adding some TPA Toasted Marshmallow and/or caramel candy, if I can find a rich chocolate flavour I would like to add some of that. Something with some body is what im missing..The TPA chocolate and bitter chocolate are not rich enough imo. Let me know if you have any ideas, its such a complex flavour to try and decipher. I know what you mean by rich pastry type taste too, but i dont know what might mimic it..if I had some choc fudge brownie id try add a little of that. The only pastry type I have atm is FA cookie, and dont think it would do it any good. But only one way to find out I suppose.

I don't think chocolate is the way to go. But by all means keep trying you might come up with a good chocolate blend that Vermillion River hasn't created yet.
It's funny you mention FA cookie because that is exactly what I tried on my first attempt.
It makes a decent vape, but the FA cookie is not the pastry taste I find in KPB. It's not as rich, and tastes sharper somehow.
I had a Maxboro once that had some elements of the KPB taste in it.. at least to my palate.
Not sure what the maxboro is supposed to be either, though.

I don't know if it's already in the DIY recipe, but I think I remember reading that KPB has a little hazelnut in it (I love adding a little of Capella's hazelnut to my tobaccos - just a little, or it takes over).
