Hi all...
I just got my kayfun Lite clone in the mail. It's beefy and pretty... but... is it even a kayfun? The reason Im asking is because it's missing a few things that I thought all the Kayfuns had. Don't all Kayfuns have a bottom fill port? This one has airflow control which I didn't think the lite model had either. There is another screw on the bottom ring (over from the airflow hole) that's maybe a fill hole. I hope not because that would be a bear to fill each time. I thought kayfuns took a drip trip, this one screws on. It's a nice atty, it came with a baby screw driver and a couple extra o rings and the plastic little tank piece. Im happy with it Im just not sure what it is exactly. Oh... it's a tobeco clone if that helps. Thanks!

Looks like a Kayfun 3.1 clone to me. The K.lite has the bottom fill port, the original has a side fill, or can fill from the top. Top fill is my preference. On the 3.1 there should be 3 holes. Looking from an upright position, the Air adjust screw is on the right. To the left of the screw is the air intake hole. To the left of the air intake is the fill port. It's a one way valve which accepts a blunt tip needle of a certain size. You tip the Kayfun upside down at an incline, insert needle, the squeeze juice into the tank. Supposedly a tapered plastic needle works best.

I just use the top fill method. And that is, unscrew the top cap. Once off, insure that the rubber O-ring in the underside of the cap is pressed in firmly, and also check that the Chimney funnel cap is still tight, before filling with juice. Then cover air hole with finger tip, and fill the tank up to about the top two threads where the cap screws in. Push cap onto funnel and screw cap till it just engages 1/4 turn. Flip upside down, remove finger from air hole, then tighten the cap completely.

You are correct, the K.lite does not have a air adjust screw, but the K.lite+ does. They caught a clew when their sister company did the Russian 91%. Adjustable air supply is a feature that's a must have in any rba I purchase. Which was featured on the Russian and Kayfun 3.1

Good luck with the Tobeco, their qc is not the best. But if you received a good one, then that's all good. But then when buy clones, qc is always a gamble.

My Fastech KF clone (SKU #1630300) has the side fill. Its listed as a 3.1 clone. Mine also has the top cap with the integrated drip tip.

I think you have a 3.1 clone not a lite.

All bets are off when it comes to ebay if that it where you got it!

Fastech also has a parts kit that includes a top cap with the removable drip tip option. Its cheap (like $5). I have that kit and it works with my 3.1 clone.

Thanks for the info... on mine what I have figured out so far....
3 holes- left is air flow control, then the air hole, then the third hole which I guess is the fill
other than the air hole both the other holes have flat head screws in them, I played with both and the right one will leak fluid when I loosen it up so that's why I think its the fill maybe.
