I really need to order a clearomizer! What is the stainless carto on your other batt Jammin?

That is a smoktek dual coil carto. I took that pic to show the size reference on another thread. It has a sleek look to it. I like it ALMOST as good as the clearomizer. I think the clearomizer has a slightly smoother taste.

Those are also called EMDCC's, SmokTech XXL Dual Coils, and some place even call them SmokTech XXXL Dual Coils.

Your clear carto looks burned to me. I've only seen them get that dark from burning the fiber-fill, does it taste funky?

Also I clean mine every 7-10 days in vodka, I just submerge them overnight, take them out shake the heck out of them (with the vodka in them) then rinse and let dry. I do this until the fiber fill starts looking muzzy, they still work but I toss them at that point anyway.

The XXXL is not the same as the EMDCC. They hold about the same amount of liquids, and both are LR, but the EMDCC hits a bit harder. The XXXL has external threads, while the EMDCC has internal threads. I've had clear EMDCCs, and the liquid did look much darker in them.

Check Mad Vapes for XXXL and EMDCCs, as they seem to have the largest selection for SMOK products.

thats the strange thing -it doesn't taste burnt, just looks like it! It is smoktech XXXL dual coil. Love the capacity, just not the appearance. I think I'll try cleaning it this weekend. Will have to try a clearomizer next :)

thanks bruiser! What is the difference between internal & external threads? Just the way they hit & look? Are there benefits to internal threads?

Funny, I ordered some XXXl with internal threads a few months back I know the one you are referring to from MadVapes though, and yeah it is different... I think some sites may just name them whatever.

I got my clearomizer from RubberCityVapes and the SmokeTek from Cignot. Both have GREAT customer service and response/order fill rates.

The external thread on the XX line of cartos protrudes from the carto, just like on a standard 510 carto. The EMDCC threads are recessed inside the skirt of the carto. The EMDCC carto skirt screws right up to the band on the battery, giving a seamless look. The XX line does not cover up the threads on the battery, leaving a visible gap between the battery and carto connection.

My gosh! You guys have been busy tonight!! I was gonna answer a coupla questions but I've been reading all this stuff and now I forgot the questions! I got my XXL Cartos from madvapes and they do have the internal threads. They fit beautifully on my kgo. I also have silver ones like in Jammin's picture with the external threads. Gosh, I'm feelin a little smart cuz I knew what bruiser meant by internal threads! Must be I'm learning sumthin here :). Madvapes had really fast shipping too and they have a big selection. I ordered a couple juices too and not thrilled with them. I'll let them sit for a week or so and try them again. Jammin, I think you're right about the arty. All I've ever used is Cartos and that's just what I'm used to. I clean and reuse them so I'm not out much if I end up with a juice I can't stand. How would u use a cartridge? I thought those had to be used with the atty? Speaking of which, the atty comes with hat u assume is a cartridge, but it's empty. Then there was a bunch I cartridges with filler in them. What's up with that? Could I put a few drops if juice in a cartridge that has the filler on the atty and have that work to test juices? HEY. maybe that's what i was supposed to be doing all along???
I'm afraid thus might be one of those DUH moments. Dam, and just when I was feeling a tad smart ;)

Hey there lady! Yes, you would use an atty with a cart, but I thought that was what you were using at the moment, as I thought I read you said something about the taste of the atty with dripping?? Maybe I read you wrong. You said arty in this post, I am not familiar with that. I thought you meant atty. Oh, now I've confused myself! LOL I am having a 'duh' moment too.

I also do not know about those empty carts. I have them too. I always assumed that they were for putting one's own filling in. I just toss 'em in my accessory drawer LOL

I haven't had any luck with MadVapes juice either, I've tried a bunch and imo they all are pretty bad. I really like their bits parts and pieces though, they have great prices, and ship super fast.

Oh god. Arty, I know, WTH?? I'm on my phone & i don't always pay attention to what little tiny letters my bud fat fingers are touchin!! (see what I mean? Bud??). So let me explain what I've been doing EXACTLY. I put a few drops in the arty ATTY. I put the empty cartridge on the ATTY. I push button and cape. VAPE. I get ICK. So then I tried the cartridge with filling, few drops in the filling, couple drops in the ATTY (see, payin attention now) screw it all on and VAPE. Still not great. I think I just don't like it that way. Welllll there's a lot if things I don't like "that way" but that's another story. Anywho... That's what I'm doing. I'm sure you guys will either tell me I'm nuts and just give up, or point out the really dumb noob thing I'm doin.

Ok, so i did read you write the first time. I wasn't sure after your other post! LOL And like I said prior, I do believe you just don't like dripping ... I don't blame you. I don't care for the taste of it either. I'm a carto gal all the way!
